## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-22

New: Intrusion Detection management — add and edit your own rules and
policies, and open any alert for its full record.

New: 1:1 NAT and NPTv6 rules, per-rule logging, and firewall categories
you can create, edit and assign.

New: Groups — create and edit them, set privileges, and manage members,
  alongside users and API keys.

New: Hardware health alerts — get told when a disk starts failing or the
firewall runs low on state-table space. Switch in Settings.

New: Widget & Shortcuts Access — let the widgets and Shortcuts use a
limited account instead of your admin key, in Settings → Security.
Signing out or resetting the app removes it from your firewall again.

Shortcuts that change the firewall now need an unlocked device, and Get
Active Alerts works again — it was calling an endpoint that does not exist.

Opens faster: the overview shows your last known figures straight away
  instead of three spinners.

Lighter on the firewall — polling eases off when you are not looking at it,
and background wake-ups are more reliable.

### 1.0.37 — 2026-08-18

CrowdSec bans and alerts show their full detail — the lists only ever showed the IP and the scenario that triggered it.
The lists no longer stop at 50 — both bans and alerts were capped at the first 50 rows with nothing to say so, which on a firewall under active attack quietly hid most of what was happening. Either list can be filtered by IP or scenario to find one address among hundreds.
"Not installed" no longer covers for "no access" — if the API key you signed in with has not been granted the CrowdSec privilege, the app said the plugin was not installed and sent you off to install something that was already there. It now tells you which it is, and where to grant the privilege.
Pull to refresh on the Security tab — it was the one tab without it. Pulling now refreshes CrowdSec, the intrusion detection section and the certificate section together.
New: Release notes — the Firmware card showed the version you are on and whether an update is waiting, but never what any release actually changed.

### 1.0.36 — 2026-08-06

• DHCP Leases now shows IPv6 as well as IPv4, with a filter per family, and names clients by DUID
  when they have no MAC.
  • Reservations and DHCP subnets/ranges cover IPv6 too — view, add, edit, delete.
  • ARP Table is now Neighbors: IPv4 and IPv6 in one list.
  • Gateways show which are IPv4 and which are IPv6.
  • New: DHCP Subnets — see and edit your scopes, and control the DHCP service.
  • Packet Filter & Kernel no longer says "Under pressure" for a counter that last moved months ago.
  • WOL: Showing only when the WOL Plugin is installed

### 1.0.35 — 2026-08-02

Small bump version for:
Bug fix: Disk Health sits properly on the Overview now - (had weird margins/paddings)
Bug fix: Filter chips read correctly in both themes

### 1.0.34 — 2026-07-31

New: Link Health — negotiated speed and duplex per interface, plus error, collision and drop
  counters, in Labs → Insights.

New: Top Talkers — sample which hosts are using bandwidth right now. Opt-in, per interface, in Labs
  → Insights.

Static reservations now show whether each device is actually on the network, with a filter to find
  the ones that are not.

Labs → Insights regrouped into Appliance Health, Physical Links, Traffic and History — and it loads
  noticeably faster.

Quicker to open, and lighter on the firewall: live graphs pause when you are not looking at them or
  the app is locked.

The offline banner is now confirmed against live traffic before it appears.

Splash screen quotes can be switched off in Settings → Look & Feel.

Consistent card styling, first-load placeholders, and better dark-mode contrast on the VPN screen.

Turning a port forward or outbound NAT rule on or off from the app now sticks — the switch was
asking the firewall for the opposite state.

Rules the firewall generates itself — anti-lockout and automatic NAT — are now marked and read-only,
instead of offering controls that could never work.

Fixed a case where switching a rule could leave an extra, unintended rule behind on the firewall.
Toggles are now written only to the section the rule belongs to, and the ruleset reloads once per
  change instead of several times.

The rule list now always shows every rule on newer OPNsense builds — interface-bound rules could
drop out of the list after a refresh, leaving only the floating ones.

Threat feeds: URL list feeds can now be switched on and off, not just added and removed. Rulesets
that ship with the firmware no longer show a Remove button they cannot honour.

Switches use the app accent colour everywhere now, instead of green on some screens and blue on
  others.

Thank you to everyone who sent feedback and reported issues — it shapes what gets built next. Keep
  it coming.
