## What is Opora?

Opora is a hub for the ADHD brain: a timer, tasks as animals, a grove and CBT and DBT techniques for hard moments in one app. Nobody here rushes or shames you. When starting is hard, it lends a shoulder.

YOUR INTERVAL, NOT A RIGID POMODORO
Calibration finds your own focus length: 12 minutes or 40. At each boundary the timer waits for your button, and auto-start for breaks and work is there if you want it.

A GROVE THAT GROWS WITH YOU
Each finished interval plants something. Awards and a living tamagotchi companion stay with you. Miss a day and nothing wilts or dies. An empty hill is tomorrow's flowerbed.

SKILLS FOR HARD MOMENTS
Short exercises based on CBT and DBT: 5-4-3-2-1 grounding, TIPP, STOP, paced breathing, a decision timebox and journal, the procrastination equation, a rest plan and weekly needs sliders. Each technique explains what the next step is for.

TASKS AS ANIMALS
Buffalo is urgent and important, three at most. Elephant is big and needs splitting. Rabbit is quick. Panda can wait. Each week you pick one to three "stones", the big things that move your life.

PAPER FOR YOUR HEAD
A thought barges in mid-focus? Capture it with one tap and go back to work. Sort it out on the break.

A SEED FOR TOMORROW
In the evening you pick one task and a first step under two minutes. In the morning one notification arrives in your own words, and the timer opens already loaded. Skip it and the seed does not roll over, and nothing is counted anywhere.

FIDGETS FOR YOUR FINGERS
A bead on the timer ring, springy grass, a pebble with a slow heartbeat. Hands busy, eyes free. Attention stays where you put it.

ALSO INSIDE
• Home Screen widgets: today's tasks with checkboxes, timer, grove
• Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
• Habits, awards, and a herbarium of species
• A garden with flowers and your pet, rotates freely, goes fullscreen in Plus
• One-file backup

PRIVACY
Tasks, sessions and settings stay on your device only. No account, no ads. Purchases go through the App Store and RevenueCat under an anonymous identifier.

The full course notes, the Descartes square for big decisions, the “Look back” decision review and the week breakdown. The subscription renews on its own; cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.20.0 — 2026-10-23

hi, it's the weirdos. opora is now an adhd skills course.

the course tab: nine lessons in order, from getting started to rest. the incup lever lesson (interest, novelty, challenge, urgency, passion) is half free.

the home screen is yours to build: switch blocks on and off and reorder them. new blocks: focus sound and "opora notices".

habits grow as a 30-day garden bed. a done day plants a sprout, a missed day stays bare soil and resets nothing. yesterday can still be marked.

noise for work rounds: white and pink are free, brown comes with plus. it plays only during a round, and silence is an option too.

on an open iphone duo the home screen and habits split into two columns with the fold between them.

onboarding now opens with the pear. the hedgehog is fine with it, we asked

### 1.19.2 — 2026-10-21

yearly plus now starts with a free week. we argued about it for a while and lost the argument to ourselves.

the plus screen now shows your minutes from the last two weeks instead of a list of what we can do. newcomers start straight with five minutes

### 1.19.1 — 2026-10-20

we fixed the shield. without plus, picking "all apps & categories" left it empty, and social apps opened mid-round. we saw it and kept quiet.

now the free shield covers up to 3 items: an app, a whole category or a site. pick more and opora will say so

### 1.19.0 — 2026-10-19

hi, it's the weirdos. we got a shield.

shield on the round: the apps you pick stay closed while the round runs. up to three apps for free, the whole list plus categories and sites with plus. the shielded minutes show up in stats and in the monday letter. the "open anyway" button is always there.

the first start asks in plain words whether you want a notification at the end of the round, and only then calls the system dialog.

on install day the paywall talks about your next round. after a cancelled purchase one tap tells us why not now. we read every answer.

an early stop on the first round shows how many minutes are left until the sprout.

### 1.18.2 — 2026-10-17

hi, it's the weirdos. we reread every line in the app.

the copy is calmer and shorter now: fewer dashes, no pats on the back. practice steps read like instructions.

the first sprout card shows the actual plant grown in the first round, and the reminder offer fits on it in full.

a few labels in widgets and stats stayed in russian in other languages. now they are translated.
