How useless! For some reason my BDP-103 keeps forgetting my Netflix credentials (my old Samsung BD-P2550 never did) and it takes forever to re-enter them using the remote. ### 2/5 — Oppo app is bad. *2014-01-18, version 2.0.3* Very inconsistent. Terrible integration with Oppo 103. Randomly crashes or stops playing. Loses control of player. Rebooting only helps sometimes. Oppo says problem is known. People I know keep them music in categories -e.g. jazz, classical, rock and likewise keep their movie files in categories -e.g. action, comedy, scifi. When this can search all your media files for a particular movie title - e.g. Armageddon it will be great but many movies might fit in more than one folder and if you have over a 1000 titles, no one wants to try to scroll down through 1000 movies in one folder. ### 2/5 — Good Beginning... *2014-08-09, version 2.0.5* ...but a long way to go. Clearly the proverbial work in progress. Knowing the OPPO mindset these guys will get the job done and done right but as this App stands now it is rather primitive. Today I wanted to just use the Oppo without my system remote and the batteries were dead. I downloaded this and what a great experience! Now I can play whatever song I want without having to turn on my projector to see the video output of the bdp 105. It is so convenient. I think the app can be improved by adding features like creating playlists, auto downloading album artwork etc. iTunes like features to create a library based on genres, artists etc would also be very useful. I don't know if the players themselves can create such libraries or not, but I believe this feature can be implemented on the media control app itself . ### 4/5 — Oppo remote *2013-07-28, version 1.0.1* Improvements: - ability to have white text on black background to eat up less battery - show time of each song when showing song list of an album - show total time of album next to album name - album name and song which scrolls on the top of page - either larger font or move it to another part of the screen ### 3/5 — Screen saver. *2015-11-08, version 2.0.6* You guys need to do a screensaver or your going to burn a lot of TVs. The app has trouble locating my NAS consistently under sources on the main screen. I'd say less than 50% it can't locate it. My Sonos sees the NAS as does my other devices including the BDP 105 using the onscreen menu options. It's very frustrating.
