## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.7 — 2026-09-05

Reporting that keeps up with you

• Reports now carry a location, so a problem filed at one store doesn't
have to be explained twice. Shared screens fill it in for you.
• The "?" button shows a badge when something needs you — a reply on a
report you filed, or a new report waiting if you manage a team. It
  clears as you read.
• Tapping a report notification opens the right place: a new report goes
to your inbox, an update on one you filed goes to My Reports.

Help on shared screens

Kitchen displays and time-clock kiosks now have the "?" assistant. Anyone
working a shared screen can search the handbook or flag an issue, low
stock, or waste — no personal sign-in needed.

Shopify orders on the kitchen display

Online orders from Shopify now appear alongside Square orders. Each
screen can hide the order sources it doesn't need from Settings, so a
prep station only sees what it's responsible for.

Making

Sub-recipes are now recognized properly and count toward what needs to be
made. Nested batches are sized against whole parent batches instead of
fractions, so quantities match what the crew actually produces.

Smaller things

• The "?" button can be dragged out of the way when it covers something.
• "Update available" moved off the top of the screen into the "?"
assistant, so it no longer sits over what you're doing.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-29

Updates to schedule viewing and live metrics scorecard.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-27

Notifications
Push notifications updates and additions like cover and trade shifts.

Team chat
Message your team directly from the app — one-to-one, group, or the whole team. New messages arrive as notifications with an unread count on the app icon.

Home screen widgets
Add Live Sales and Schedule widgets to your home screen. Managers covering more than one store now see the full team's day across every location, not just one.

Fixes
Training courses now load correctly in the app.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-18

Notifications now fire on all seven schedule events:

Schedule published (new)
Cover request sent
Cover request accepted
Trade request sent
Trade request accepted
1 hour before shift start
Employee hasn't clocked in for their shift (new)

Schedule-published and missed-clock-in previously had no push path at all — SMS and email only.

Fixed: the missed clock-in alert exited before writing its sent-marker when no admin had a phone number on file, so it could re-alert on later runs. It now only skips when there's no delivery channel at all, and notifies the affected employee as well as timeclock admins.

APNs credentials come from the existing APPLE_KEY_ID / APPLE_TEAM_ID / APPLE_PRIVATE_KEY used by Sign in with Apple, rather than a second set of variables. Only APNS_PRODUCTION and APNS_BUNDLE_ID are push-specific. APNS_PRODUCTION must match the build's entitlement — false for Xcode debug builds, true for TestFlight and App Store.

Observability: push failures were entirely silent. Startup now logs whether APNs is configured and which gateway it will use, and each send logs recipient counts and APNs failure reasons (reasons only — never device tokens).

Foreground banners: set presentationOptions so a push raises a banner while the app is open. Without it iOS suppresses the alert, which is indistinguishable from the push never arriving.

Also in this release: iOS Live Sales and Schedule home-screen widgets; routes for the inventory ingredient-costing and recipe-mapping pages, which existed but were unreachable; ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption declared so App Store uploads stop prompting for export compliance; and the APNs auth key untracked from the repo.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-07

Home-screen widgets are here.

• Live Sales — keep today's net sales, order count, hourly trend, and
breakdowns by source and department right on your home screen.

• My Shifts & Team Today — see your next shifts and who's on today
  without opening the app.

Plus a fix so your home screen shows only the apps your account uses.
