## What is OPT Days?

Your OPT unemployment count is the one number that can end your F-1 status — and it keeps climbing even while you are outside the US.

OPT Days puts it on your Lock Screen.

• 90-day and 150-day limits, counted the way SEVP counts them
• Overlapping jobs are merged, never double-counted
• Every deadline you were never told about: filing windows, EAD expiry, the 6-month travel signature, I-983 validation reports, the 60-day grace period
• A gap simulator, so you know what turning down an offer costs before you decide
• No account. Your dates never leave your iPhone.

OPT Days is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with USCIS, SEVP, DHS, or your school, and it is not legal advice. Your DSO and SEVIS are the authoritative sources for your record — always confirm before you act.

The Lock Screen circle with your day count is free, along with the Home Screen widget and an alert as you approach the limit. No ads, no account.

OPT Days Pro adds the wide Lock Screen widget that also shows your next deadline, alerts for every deadline, the gap simulator, unlimited employers, and dated CSV export. Choose the yearly subscription, which starts with a 1-week free trial and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the one-time Lifetime purchase, which never renews. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-09-08

• Your unemployment day count now shows on the Lock Screen without paying. The circular widget with your day count is free — it was the one thing this app is for, and it was behind the paywall.

• Pro still adds the wide Lock Screen widget with your next deadline, alerts for every deadline, the gap simulator, unlimited employers, and dated CSV export.

• Fixed: if your purchase could not be read at launch (no signal, signed out of the App Store), Pro could switch itself off. It now stays on until Apple actually says otherwise.

• The listing now says what this app is. The old name mentioned "F-1", which the App Store reads as Formula 1.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-05

No changes to the app itself. This update only refreshes the App Store images, so the first screenshot now shows what the Lock Screen widget actually looks like.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-26

You can now leave a review from inside the app. It is asked at most once, only after you have added a job, and never again if you decline.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-15

No release notes.
