The app needs a color wheel or some way to adjust contrast. The govee app was pretty good, they have so many great options that I'm missing on the OPT7 app, such as the ability to store lots of presets and fade between selected colors, the interface was way more intuitive, similar to the iPhone, and it gave you visual feedback when selecting or holding a selection, on this app I can't tell if it registered me holding the preset icon. The OPT7 lights are the best I've tried, but the app is lacking significantly. ### 2/5 — App is not working correctly *2024-08-17, version 1.0.15* Only can use blue light or white light if i choose any other color they all 4 change to different colors all 4 lights will only be the same colors if i use only blue or white how do i fix this ### 2/5 — App *2024-02-16, version 1.0.15* I love the lights and they look amazing but the app is trash. Also need more color options. Even though the scroll bar has multiple shades it doesn’t actually change the color we see until you get to a certain color. The color fade is my favorite mode and it doesn't even have that it flashes which isn't a smooth transition like the color fade on the old box the app also said it would have more features and it doesn't not. Would be much better with the actual remote vox ### 2/5 — Can’t add to Bluetooth devices *2022-09-07, version 1.0.11* You can not add the controller to Bluetooth devices so you have to sync this through the app every time and then turn them on then selects preset. Which is a hassle especially on a motorcycle when we already have enough going on. They say it’s for safety I would agree if the stock preset was white with red break lights and not white and off when breaking. ### 2/5 — Needs Color Fading *2022-08-13, version 1.0.11* This app would be so much better if they added one simple thing, slow fading between colors. The current “color fade” mode just flashes one color on and off pretty fast. Their customer service is nonexistent and they don’t respond to messages. Horrible connectivity as far as multiple units. The cooor change door assist does work and is the ONLY function that is worth it. I’m goons use their LED bar on ALOT better driver. Horrible. Oh and as for the image of their store in the app I’ve never seen it. ### 1/5 — This app is missing a bunch of features! *2024-12-19, version 1.0.15* Some important features that are needed: • scenes: choose what colors to cycle through, in what order, speed of the cycle, transition type selection, etc. • automatically connect to LED control box • color wheel or square (or some way to adjust saturation) • brightness should be available in every mode! Some features I would like: • remove the intro / app opening • have different themes (I would like a more simple design) The OPT7 Glow app seems to have a lot of what we need. The Govee app is also pretty good. Please consider it, many people are having similar issues with the app, the products are great but the app needs a refresh! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-05-18, version 1.0.15* I connected it to the app but the lights dont turn on or off when i unplug them they turn on but the app doesn’t do anything then I turn it off and they dont turn back on ### 1/5 — Don’t purchase this product *2024-04-18, version 1.0.15* 1. The Bluetooth connection to your lights isn’t secure. 2. The app doesn’t sync with the state of the lights. If the lights are on and you start the app iand connect with the car it shows off. 3. For some weird reason you need to press the door assist button to change colors. 4. If you turn off the lights on the app ( doesn’t always work ) and turn the car off it doesn’t save anything. I filled out their support form and heard nothing. I sent two emails to their support email and heard nothing. You can’t find their phone number on the website. The app has cool features which are nice and bright to light up the footwell.
