## What is OptimalHR?

OptimalHR lets employees clock in/out, request time off, resolve attendance issues, and submit resignations. Line managers can view team statuses, track attendance in real time, and review or approve requests.

### 7.11.6 — 2026-08-11

This build addresses:
- The long wait time / blank screen (white or black) before the app finishes loading
- Error pop-ups now show the correct error message

• Faster clock-in and clock-out — your registered time now appears instantly, with no delay after pressing the button.
• Attendance selfies — see the selfie taken with each clock-in and clock-out on your attendance records. Line managers can also view their team members' clock selfies.
• Cancel an approved Change Day Off — request cancellation directly from the request details, just like cancelling approved leave.
• Leave requests — choose Full Day, First Half, or Second Half when submitting leave.
• Team insights for managers — the Onboarding, Leaving, and Vacancy cards can now be viewed per department, with vacancy details on the drill-down list.
• Fixes: the My Team clocked-in count no longer goes stale, View Team Location opens without an error, and error pop-ups now always appear on iOS.
• Plus many smaller fixes and performance improvements.

### 7.10.0 — 2026-06-10

**Geofence enforcement for clock-in / clock-out**

- You'll now see a clear message when you try to clock in or out from outside your assigned work zone, including how far you are from the zone (e.g. "You're about 120m from HQ. Move closer to clock in").
- If your location can't share a distance, you'll be told you need to be inside your work zone to clock in/out.
- If your work location has no clock-in/clock-out zone configured yet, the app prompts you to contact HR to enable clocking from that location.
- Repeated attempts to clock in/out from outside the zone will be flagged to HR, and you'll be notified that this has happened.
- All new messages are localized in English and Khmer.

**Faster, smoother long lists (pagination)**

- Your requests lists now load in pages — the app fetches the first batch instantly and loads more as you scroll, so long histories no longer slow the screen down.
- The resignations list now uses the same pagination, keeping it quick to open and scroll even with many entries.

We've squashed some bugs and made the app faster and smoother
to use.

  * Smarter cache handling so your data refreshes at the
    right time
  * No more white flash when opening the Request list for the
    first time
  * Request form is lighter on the network with fewer
    unnecessary calls
  * Team details now handle external employee data correctly
