I’ve bought the hd procast and downloaded the app but when I open the app my procast is not listed so I can’t connect?!?!!
Instructions useless no FAQ or troubleshooting-will need to return the product and buy something else.

Impossible de rentrer de le menu « Settings » nécessaire pour régler mon vidéo projecteur en Wifi... L’application ne fonctionne ni sur iPhone, ni sur iPad, ni sur MacBook Pro... Dernière mise à jour il y a un an... Je regrette d’avoir opté pour Optoma (sic)...

I bought the USD29 miniUSB dongle to Airplay my iPhone & iPad Pro through the Optoma ML750ST projector (which I REALLY like). This app was supposed to give me proper Apple integration among devices, and I love Airplay. 

HOWEVER- Instructions to set the dongle up and use the app are convoluted and require a lot of guesswork. After hunting, guessing, installing and pecking through badly designed screens and menus, I had tried multiple ways to Airplay my iPad through the projector. I eventually found an old video on YouTube (for iOS 7-9, while I’m on the cusp of upgrading to 11) with some clue of how the app used to work. 

Still - NOTHING worked, and I’m not sure if it’s the dongle or the app. By the way - the app interface is really badly designed and extremely ugly. No explanations, not intuitive. Come on...it’s 2017 and this is supposed to work with a leading brand of projectors. Up your game!

The app theoretically allows me to import documents and media through iTunes (what year are you stuck in??) to play THROUGH its ugly interface. It kinda works, but is extremely clunky and still oh so fugly. Using it would look SO bad for business as the app is awful looking, stutters and chokes, mostly quitting unexpectedly.

⛔️Stay clear AWAY from this app and the dongle unless there are significant upgrades.⛔️

😒I guess I’ll have to stick to HDMI cables and just mirror my iPad that way.

Sólo necesito hacer mirror de la pantalla del ipad con ios 10.2, y a pesar de realizar todas las conexiones y llegar a ver el HdCast Pro en las opciones de Airplay no llega a pasar la imagen... por lo tanto App y Dongle HDCAst Pro para proyectores Optoma no sirven para nada....

Claims to be able to screen cast. Cannot screen cast and disconnect from the projector every time it attempts to be used for airplay. Look elsewhere. Highly unreliable.

I have an Optoma projector and bought the WUSB dongle for it. Unfortunately this app no longer finds the dongle, and the developer and Optoma don’t seem to care. 
Optoma - remove this app and refund the people who’ve paid for it since you stopped supporting it!

I see zero point for this app. What’s the point of connecting your phone if you are unable to mirror the screen and use it however you want.

Was able to connect my iPhone via the USB wireless dongle that came with my projector... was not a very intuitive process even for someone that knows their way around connecting devices. 

Once connected I could only view my photos, take photos with a live screen mirror, or watch videos already in my camera roll. NO screen mirroring possible with apps, internet, Netflix, YouTube... etc.

Think they are just checking the box of “Can connect your phone wirelessly” and forgetting to add any usable features.

Would give ZERO stars.

Wer die Funktionalität der App beklagt, schaue in die Beamer-Anleitung: Um die App nutzen zu können, braucht man das optional erhältliche Zubehör "Wireless USB Dongle". Möge das anderen helfen.

Great App but now with IOS 11 coming it doesn’t perform as well , but more annoying - and I think it’s on apple side ? - when you swipe up iPhone only looks for Apple TV and does not recognise my HDcastpro as it did before so brilliantly
As said maybe not apps fault but iOS 11 has knocked this viewing option into the “not fully working anymore “ league

Got my smart phone to connect wirelessly but the way to do so is deep in their menu. And then it seems you can only share photos or your camera. You can’t stream a website from your phone. Since that’s what I want to do I won’t be using this I guess. I’ll have to connect through HDMI.
