It read “it’s no you it’s us please log into Optum banking”. I download Optum Banking and tried to log in and get a message that reads “it’s no you, it’s us. I tried removing the app and reinstalling. Keep getting an error that says “unable to process your request at this time”. It lets me login, sometimes does the two factor with a text message but when I pick the organization I work for it gives me an error. There is no button or intuitive way to move forward on these claims as there is on the website. I’m using iOS 17.6.1 and app v5.9.0 build 97. ### 1/5 — Review for Optum Financial – HSA Card Issuance Nightmare *2025-09-24, version 5.9.0* I've been waiting for over four months to receive my HSA card from Optum Financial, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. Despite making multiple phone calls to their helpline, there has been no resolution. Each time I call, I’m told that a new HSA card has been initiated and will arrive in 10–12 business days. But the card never arrives. When I follow up, the cycle simply repeats: a new card is issued, another 10–12 day wait, and again—nothing. There seems to be a complete breakdown in communication and follow-through. Not only is this causing inconvenience, but it also impacts my ability to access and use my HSA funds when I need them. I expected better service from a financial institution that handles something as critical as healthcare savings. Additionally, no payer information is saved from previous actions. ### 1/5 — Nightmare *2026-06-17, version 6.4.0* Trying to open account since 5 months and not able to, customer support is a mess here and they are not able to direct you with what kind of document is required or the application do not have option to view what is pending and with whom or the current status!!! let’s see how many more months they need to open my account and contributions towards HSA since April is missing and now need to track those transactions once the account gets opened. Not sure how the employers tie up with this institution when they leave employees unrest. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-04-28, version 6.4.0* This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used with horrible customer service. It’s never worked from the start and nobody at customer service can help. It never lets me log in, just tells me repeatedly to use my other log in ID which I don’t have. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2026-01-19, version 5.12.0* I still cannot log in. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app. It accepts my password, even shows me my two HSA accounts but once I select one I get an error and it logs me back out. It’s been happening for months and it doesn’t sound like I’m the only one. How can this app be that bad?? Fix it! ### 1/5 — Claim documents *2026-01-18, version 5.12.0* Since sometime last year this app changed to where once you upload documentation for a claim, it shows that it was uploaded successfully but does not reflect afterwards showing claim pending approval along with showing the document that was submitted. The claim still shows incomplete. This app does not work as it should and it is such a burden on us to submit documents for expenses. Now I have to call every time and spend way too much time on the phone dealing with each expense being approved.
