Not super helpful! ### 2/5 — Chat screen is broken! *2026-06-20, version 4.56* 6/18/26 trying to “chat”. When clicking on “type your message”, the prompt disappears. -apparently behind the keyboard. After experimenting, it seems you can still type, but you can’t see the field you’re typing into. When you click on the check mark, it appears. After sending a comment, it does not allow typing another comment! Then the “Send” arrow skips around on the screen. Did anyone actually check this app on an iPhone 17? Unbelievable! Was this written by elementary school interns? 8/4/23 if you make an error when typing in your username, then check “Remember my username”, you get the appropriate signin error. However, now it uses the incorrect username you told it to remember, and it will not allow making changes to it! ### 2/5 — Cant login *2026-06-16, version 4.56* Cant login to app or online. Have updated or redownloaded the app several times with no remedy. Whats going on? ### 1/5 — Used to not suck *2026-05-24, version 4.55.0* I used to never have issues with this service but now everytime I get a new med i might as well have just gotten the meds at an in person pharmacy. They have me have to sign everytime for my adhd meds which means I have to be there everytime they might get sent which is monthly. Which shocking but I miss it everytime and have to reschedule a delivery or walk in person. This last time I have a depression med that I needed refilled and they never bothered to call about it and when I went to fix it it said the reason it didn’t send was because I owed them money. Like HOW?! How do I owe you money you are supposed to be auto charging my hsa card what do you mean I owe you money?! I fix that then reorder it and it cancels again with zero reason as to why just a multiple reasons bla bla bla by this time I am completely out of this med. oh and it’s a holiday weekend with no 24:7 customer service l. so not only have my meds been canceled with zero reason as to why I also have to but I also have to wait till Tuesday to call you to find out why you can’t be bothered to send me meds and tell me why not. I have had issues everytime I have had a new psych med set up. Thanks for wasting my time and insuring I ran out of my VERY needed psych meds. I will be slowly discontinuing my services with you. ### 1/5 — 404 error *2026-05-20, version 4.55.0* Lately I’ve been getting a 404 ever and trying to login. It will not log me in at all. Then when I click ok it brings me to a blank screen with no place to enter my username and password. I’ve reset my password innumerable amount of times. I’ve even used a different email address/password combination. No matter what I do, it always gives a 404MEMBERPROFILE error. Every. Single. Time. If there was a coverage issue up until the past two months they would call and text me. Now I can hardly get any valid human responses when I call Them. Changing pharmacies because of this. The company is a criminal POS. ### 1/5 — Face ID still requires manual sign-in *2026-08-25, version 4.57* So even when you have Face ID enabled, you’re still asked to sign in manually regularly. Beyond infuriating. ### 1/5 — I wish there were zero stars *2026-08-20, version 4.57* I had the absolute worst experience with OptumRx. Avoid this pharmacy at all cost. They will try to avoid filling your prescription. I am an MD and even with my medical knowledge I was appalled at how unscrupulous there were. ### 1/5 — Poor customer service *2026-08-05, version 4.57* This company will waste your time & not resolve issues to fill your prescription. Have a long AI menu before you get a live person. The CS person has no idea why you called, even though they asked you to, & won’t ship your prescription until they talk with you? After hours trying to get your meds shipped you’re still dealing with a quagmire. Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible. Their rating is probably much lower than the one shown. If the CS person thinks you’ll give them a negative survey, they put you on hold indefinitely so you can’t complete the survey. ### 1/5 — You will be inundated with useless text messages, calls, and emails *2026-08-01, version 4.57* This app is incredibly frustrating and frankly dangerous. The only communication options are either 1- be inundated with useless text messages, phone calls and emails or 2-no communication whatsoever, including no critical communications like Hey-we can’t fill your prescription. I turned off communications to get relief but then, I ordered a prescription refill and it was out stock. Instead of letting me know, Optum just didn’t refill it and didn’t notify me, leaving me without much needed medication. The app also didn’t show this-until I called to find out where my prescription was, the app falsely said that my prescription had already been delivered. I had to scramble to get a new prescription from my doctor and find a new place to fill it. It was going to take Optum several days to transfer the prescription (also unacceptable). ### 1/5 — OptumRx is my 13th reason *2026-07-01, version 4.56* They keep canceling my prescriptions and when I try to call I have to go through layers of different people who keep redirecting me to someone else. I have went through several medications to find one that works for me. Now Optum prefers a different medication. I have to FAIL that medication before they will pay for the one that works. My arthritis is so bad that I’m getting steroid injections in different joints and fluid drained off monthly. I’m missing work and I can’t care for my family like I want to. I am also a pharmacist and asked them to justify why they want me to change and they could not provide me with research saying that the other medication would work better for me. Just that it is preferred. I will be writing public reviews as much as possible. Also, every injection is a $75 copay and brings me closer to osteoporosis. ### 1/5 — Have you people heard of emails? *2026-06-13, version 4.56* Every time I try to order a prescription for my kid, I have to re-enter my email. It doesn’t remember who I am despite faceid. Then, it gets grouchy if the email I enter is not the same case as the previous time. Who’s ever heard of case-sensitive emails?! Then I try to give them feedback, and guess what they need? My email. And they don’t like the email, so I have to retype and retype and retype. For Pete’s sake, have you ever heard of QA testing? Then, I changed my location to see pharmacies near me while I’m on a trip.
