### 4/5 — Lags when sliding the timer bar

*2026-03-19*

Lags when sliding the bar to see different times. Have to do it very slowly so it doesn’t lag. Pls make it more responsive. Otherwise, great app.

### 4/5 — Default countries

*2026-03-08*

First of all, I love your app. It’s beautiful

I have found an issue. I have added countries as per requirements in the app - which is visible across all three display options. But when I use the clock widget on Home Screen, the clock widget doesn’t show me the my added countries. It rather is displaying the default countries. Can you please fix this?

### 4/5 — Very useful but clock widget stopped working

*2026-02-22*

I really enjoyed this app especially for the big clock widget that lets you see all the different times at a glance. Sadly this has stopped working a few days ago. Now it just shows sth like a template of that widget without the actual timezones and labels. Hope it gets fixed.

### 4/5 — So close to perfect

*2025-10-16*

Big fan of the work that this developer does. Making this free is a big gift, as a prior time zone app I had used and paid for was recently removed from the App Store. 3 requests would make it perfect for my needs: there’s no city listed in WITA (UTC+8) that I can tell, which seems like a rather odd omission. I’d also love if the Home Screen widget would show the live time, and not rounded to the nearest hour (unless I’m missing something). Lastly, iCloud sync of added cities between my devices would be great. Thanks Dan! Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-09-30*

Simple, works. Please add support for a widget with multiple digital clocks

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2025-09-19*

Very well done and beautiful app. Would love to see the minutes in the widgets for each city time (instead of just 2pm, 8am, etc)

### 5/5 — Time not accurate on widget

*2025-09-19*

The only thing that’s stopping this app from being the best clock app is that the time on widgets are not accurate. The widget rounds up to nearest time instead of showing live timings. I wish this issue was fixed then the app would be more efficient

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your review!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to show minutes in Ora’s widgets with any degree of accuracy because of how iOS displays widgets.

When a user adds a widget to their Home Screen or Lock Screen, iOS generates a “timeline” of snapshots for the widget. Each snapshot is given an expiry date, after which the device will display the next snapshot. This timeline can only contain a limited number of snapshots for each widget, and that number is far less than the number of minutes in a day (1,440).

Not only this, but because it’s down to the system to decide when to update the widget with the next snapshot (developers only get to define the soonest date/time that a widget can update), there’s a high chance that the widget would display the wrong time.

Instead, Ora only displays the current hour and updates once per hour. This isn’t ideal, but is the best experience I can provide within the limitations of iOS widgets.

### 5/5 — This is the one you want

*2025-09-15*

Finally, a decent, intuitive world clock that has excellent widget support! Kudos to the dev, this is great

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2025-09-08*

Gets the job done

### 4/5 — One Major Thing Missing

*2025-09-03*

Love this, thanks for making it free. This is the most commonsensical way to think about and view timezones. Lifesaver.

BUT, and I know this is tough to do, it would be AMAZING if somehow you could make it so that during Time Travel in the globe feature… the shadow of the Earth also responds and shifts accurately.

I can imagine that with the Apple Maps integration it may not work but then I’d encourage you to see if you could swap that our for some other open-source interactive globe model that would allow such a thing because we don’t need the full access to Apple Maps with street details and whatnot. If anything, since this is a timezone app, what we do need is a globe with a moving shadow!

### 4/5 — Add an option to sort as I like

*2025-07-26*

App is great! But please add an option to sort the list of cities with time custom to my liking.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-07-23*

Please add more cities but I love it

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-06-23*

Beautifully designed app!

### 5/5 — Best world clock app ever

*2025-06-12*

I always has figure the time on other cities to call my relatives and family.

### 4/5 — Love it!

*2025-06-09*

Love the UI and the overall simplicity of the app. The only issue is the widget. It doesn’t show the correct time so have to open the app everytime to check.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Enable real time in widget

*2025-06-06*

Can’t access the real time in widget making it completely useless

**Developer response:** Hey there! I’m sorry Ora’s widgets aren’t working the way you expect. Unfortunately, no third-party widgets on iOS can access the device’s current time. Widgets render a “timeline” of content—snapshots calculated ahead of time—and can only periodically be refreshed, up to around 60 times a day. To get around this, Ora’s widgets only generate a snapshot for each hour of the day, so that it can reliably show you the current hour in different time zones.

If in the future, Apple allows developers to render the current time in widgets, I will be sure to update Ora’s widgets accordingly.

### 3/5 — Widget not working anymore

*2026-08-14*

App was great, concept was great but now the widget not reloading or working

### 3/5 — Widget Time is not Upto date

*2026-06-23, version 1.4.3*

There is a lag in updating the widget time. It gets updated only if you manually open the app

### 3/5 — Time always out

*2026-01-25*

Love the widget, but the local time and other time was always different from the actual time, and was out by a varying amounts of time. I am not sure where it is getting the data from

### 3/5 — Reorder Tiles Please

*2025-05-24*

This app has a beautiful UI and the time travel feature is super useful, especially for people like me setting up meetings with people at different time zones. In 20 seconds using it though, you will find out that is missing a critical feature: The ability to reorder the timezone tiles. This is really needed in this app! Please devs consider adding this! Thank you!

### 3/5 — Need some improvements

*2025-05-21*

So the interface is quite good however it is little bit laggy whenever searching any states/country. Also I would suggest give option for the people who just looking for time zone perspective rather than state wise. Like the appname savvy is having. If we want to compare both EST and IST we need to search those and add it. In this way it will be more simple rather than giving a huge list of states and country.
Thank you.

### 3/5 — Widget not showing correct time

*2025-04-24*

The widget is not showing the correct time.

### 3/5 — The app requires an urgent fix

*2025-02-20*

The widget displays only the hours and does not indicate minutes. As a result, when it is 2:30 PM, it will simply show 2:00 PM.

**Developer response:** Hey there! Thanks for the review, and sorry about the confusion with how widgets work. iOS prevents applications from updating widgets more than around 60 times daily. This limitation makes it impossible to always show the current time with accuracy. Instead, Ora’s widgets show the current hour in the specific time zone. I know this is not ideal, but hopefully still provides a helpful way to check the time in other time zones.

### 4/5 — This is a well built app with some minor inconveniences.

*2026-06-22*

I like how this is an app that actually tells me the world clock in the future without searching it up. I just want to be able to type in a time instead of only control the hours if possible. Otherwise this app has amazing potential.

### 4/5 — Great with a feature missing

*2026-04-06*

Just the dial needs to rotate and precisely as well to show all added time zones relevant time. The slider is not efficient and not precise as well. When somebody from a different timezone that I have to attend a meeting at a certain time, I have to find their zone first and then adjust the slider(not precise by minute). If the dial itself rotated, I can just hold on to the relevant zone dial and rotate to reflect my time zone time as well as other added zones. Please work on this. That will be just more than convinience.

Btw, great interface, keep up and kindly add the feature above. 🤟🤟🤟

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lifesaver!

*2026-07-05*

I work in an mnc with clients everywhere and time zone difference is such a hassle! This app brings order to that chaos

### 5/5 — Widget Time is Upto date now

*2026-06-29*

Thank you so much for fixing it. All looks perfect now.

**Developer response:** Hi there! I’m pleased to share that v1.4.4 fixes this with real/live time in widgets.

I wish they’d support Japanese…

### 5/5 — Great app for time

*2026-02-12*

Great UI and user friendly. Highly recommend for someone working for multiple region

### 5/5 — I’ve been needing this for years!

*2026-01-13*

So a simple, but incredibly useful app. If you work with people in multiple timezones, you know the headache of trying to figure out time in each location. You’d think you’d be able to just Google it but that never works. Beautifully designed as well! Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — So close to perfect

*2025-11-30*

Update: latest release added my missing timezone and made the widget display minutes as well. 5 stars. Thanks!!

Lastly, iCloud sync of added cities between my devices would be great. Thanks Dan! Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — Very convenient for viewing time zones

*2025-11-19*

I need to see what time it is in various parts of the world on the fly. Having a long list was often annoying as I had scroll up and down. But just being able to manipulate and compare made things very easy for me to see the different world times.

### 5/5 — Fantastic World Clock

*2025-11-10*

This is a terrific piece of software that does exactly what it advertises itself.

Great tool to use in teaching children the concept of TIME and why it’s different (London) compared to our time (Toronto).

Well worth your time and your contribution.

### 5/5 — Simple, easy to use

*2025-10-23*

Simple design that is effective. Love the use of the slider to see what time will it be x hours ahead.

### 5/5 — Quite splendid

*2025-10-08*

It’s rare that an app balances form and function so wonderfully. Great work and impressive thoughtfulness.
