They have taken something well done and working. And raped it. This is so bad. It should be deleted from everyone’s memory. It has none of the functions of the website. And make it extra difficult to do even basic documentation search. ### 1/5 — Worse than the the web version - and that’s saying something! *2023-07-14* Aconex website UX and consideration of user usages and user stories is bad enough as it is. This app is even worse. Embarrassing that Oracle can’t get its act together while being paid millions by Tier 1 builders. The website has now also been made unusable on iPhones in safari and chrome - forces you to use the terrible app but the changes were sold as a “feature” improvement. The app cannot even list the latest drawings and mail on a large major project - useless and 1 star is not low enough. This has driven us back to printing drawings and we’ve given up on viewing on iPads and iPhones. Billion dollar projects being delivered on printed drawings because Aconex doesn’t work. Aconex and oracle are wasting time developing “new” features (like the worse “improved” search), but cannot even deliver bug free mobile viewing of mail and documents in 2023. Basics of a collaboration platform that solutions from the 90’s-early 00’s on Internet explorer 5 did better. I could read and respond to my Project Centre and Project Web emails on an iPhone in 2014 - not a chance now. Replace your entire dev team and start from scratch. ### 1/5 — Total Rubbish *2023-07-13, version 23.6.1* Would give this app a zero stars rating if it were possible. Don’t waste your time downloading the app. ### 1/5 — Garbage app *2023-06-12* It logged me out because my “session had expired”. When I try to log back in, it won’t because my password is wrong, with out a link to reset my password. So, I am now logged out with no way to remedy it. Not that I mind, as the app is 99.9% useless to begin with. ### 1/5 — Worse app *2023-05-11* Always closes why using, this apps made by a clown. And people actually pay to use it not know what’s going on. The previous aconex app mail & docs was so much better but now it’s deleted. The search function is extremely poor in both documents and mail. It struggles to switch between projects. For such a fantastic web product, the app product is extremely poor and causes me more frustration and stress when I’m on site than my actual job. Our company has already migrated to using Fieldwire due to this, and we are talking about fully cutting Aconex for the next project. ### 1/5 — Most frustrating workplace app I’ve ever used *2022-02-08* Constant login issues. Have to agree to the terms and conditions almost daily to then re-enter my login details. Clunky operation. Struggles to update and send correspondences, leaves them only uploaded to device and not to cloud or recipients. Would not recommend this app in its current state for anyone. Idk if it’s because I have the newest iPhone or what but there’s a 7% chance when I open this app it actually functions. The app won’t let me sign in now as it thinks there’s “no internet connection”. Maybe it only works on WIFI? how can a company that earns millions put out such an app? The mail part is atrocious. Badly designed, unintuitive, hard to search, basically 20 year old mail app would be better than this. It doesn’t show the most up to date information. On some projects, some Inspections based on some Inspection Templates cannot be displayed. ### 2/5 — Critical bug *2020-02-23* When I searched issue by inputting its own number, this app gets shut down. It is very critical problem. Please update this as soon as possible. Other points is very good to use. ### 2/5 — No total issues total being displayed *2019-11-28* So far the app looks good and feels faster than the old Field app. The new app now includes all my sub trades to assign issues to where the field app had a bug that didn’t. I always had to assign on my computer. One issue and it’s a big one is that the total number of issues for a room are not being displayed.
