## What is Orange Helper?

Orange Helper connects to your motorcycle's OBD-II port via an ELM327 Bluetooth BLE adapter and reads diagnostic data in real time – with fault detection, repair suggestions and live sensors, tailored to your orange motorcycle. Designed for Euro 4/5 models and newer (approx. 2017 onwards).

▸ READ FAULT CODES
Read your motorcycle's fault memory (DTC), get clear descriptions in German and English, and clear codes after repair. The integrated database covers 69 fault codes with specific repair suggestions.

▸ 17 LIVE SENSORS
Monitor RPM, speed, coolant temperature, throttle position, battery voltage, engine load, intake air temp, manifold pressure, timing advance, lambda, and more – in real time on your iPhone.

▸ RIDER DISPLAY
Full-screen riding display with RPM bar, gear indicator and shift light. The tachometer shows 30 color-coded segments in real time – choose between bar, digital number, or both simultaneously. Two color styles: standard (green→yellow→orange→red) or racing (white with red warning zone). The gear indicator (BETA) calculates the current gear from RPM and speed using verified ratios from official owner's manuals – front and rear sprockets can be individually adjusted. The shift light warns with a pulsing overlay at a freely adjustable RPM threshold. Also includes: battery voltage, oil temperature, coolant temperature, throttle position and more sensors at a glance. All ride data is automatically recorded and can be exported as PDF.

▸ PDF EXPORT
Export fault scans and data logs as PDF – choose dark app design or print-friendly light mode. Statistics with average, minimum and maximum plus charts with axis labels. Export individually or as a combined document.

▸ MOTORCYCLE PROFILES
Select your model and get model-specific information: known issues, common weak points, and matching fault codes with repair suggestions for your motorcycle.

▸ FAULT DATABASE
Browse all 69 fault codes or filter by your motorcycle. Each code includes category, severity rating and repair hints – works offline without an active connection.

▸ MORE FEATURES
· Fully bilingual (German/English)
· Adjustable font size
· Portrait and landscape optimization
· Demo mode to explore without adapter
· Auto-reconnect on Bluetooth disconnect
· All data stored locally on your iPhone – no account, no cloud required

Note: Requires an ELM327 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) OBD-II adapter. Full functionality with Euro 4/5 models and newer (approx. 2017+). Older models: limited PID support. Proprietary protocols (e.g. ABS) are not accessible via standard OBD-II.

Important: Orange Helper does not replace a visit to a qualified mechanic or professional diagnostics. All displayed data, fault codes and repair suggestions are provided without warranty. The rider display is not a substitute for your vehicle's instruments. Do not actively operate the app while riding – complete all setup before you ride. Orange Helper is an independent, private hobby project. All repair hints are based on publicly available sources and do not constitute professional advice. Use at your own risk.
