Orasis is a 1-shot HDR app. It takes a SINGLE image and automatically transforms it to a well-exposed, natural-looking photo, simulating the way your eyes perceived the scenery at the moment the photo was taken. Based on a decade of academic research, Orasis uses a proprietary image processing algorithm: dark and bright image regions are enhanced, revealing information that was not visible previously. More importantly though, well-exposed areas are not affected! To the best of our knowledge this is a unique feature not offered by any other app in the industry. Orasis is the FREE version of OrasisHD. Compared to the HD version, it offers limited high resolution saves/shares (15) and it displays advertisements after each save. Thumbs down. **Developer response:** Nowhere in the Orasis description does it mention that it is for videos. We welcome any customer review, as long as it refers to functionality that we do offer, not functionality that mistakenly is assumed to be provided. We messed up! There was a terrible bug in the previous release that affected photo quality. This update fixes it. The update includes: - A reversion back to the previous stable version. - iPad UI fixes, for photos opened through the native iOS Photos Edit app. ### 1.50 — 2021-06-21 A new importing feature and some bug fixing with this update! This update includes: 1. A new faster way of importing pictures directly from the iOS Photos app in to Orasis. Just tap the sharing icon from within Photos and select the Orasis app. Your picture will directly open up in Orasis, ready for editing. 2. Fixing of UI bugs when importing photos through the edit function of iOS Photos. We would like to thank our friend Andy who proposed the new importing feature and pointed out the bugs. This will allow you to easily combine the editing effects of Orasis and Photos.
