## What is Orate?

Orate turns the books you already own into audiobooks — read aloud in voices that sound like people, not machines.

Import a PDF, EPUB, Word file or plain text. Photograph a page and Orate reads the print off it. Scan a barcode and it finds the book. Then choose how it sounds.

A VOICE FOR EVERY CHARACTER
Orate reads the text, works out who is speaking in each line, and gives every character their own narrator. Dialogue stops sounding like one person reading a script and starts sounding like a conversation. Nobody else does this.

A VOICE OF YOUR OWN
Record a short sample and Orate can narrate in your voice — your own books, in the voice your family knows.

HUMANLIKE NARRATION
The premium narrators are the ones people mistake for a person. Every plan includes some, so you can hear the difference before deciding how much you want.

MADE THE WAY YOU WANT IT
• Fix how names and unusual words are pronounced
• Add a background atmosphere to a chapter
• Design a cover with AI
• Choose a reading speed that suits you

READ OR LISTEN
The same book, either way. Follow the text on screen or put the phone in your pocket. Waveform scrubbing, a sleep timer, bookmarks you can name, playlists, and a history that remembers where you stopped.

YOURS TO KEEP
Download any audiobook for offline listening, or export and share the file. Your books, your minutes and your progress sync to every device you sign in on.

THIRTEEN LANGUAGES
Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

PLANS
Weekly, monthly and yearly, each with narration minutes, cover designs and humanlike narration included. Extra minutes can be bought outright and never expire. Anything you have already made stays playable and downloadable, whatever happens to your plan.

Orate is for the books you meant to finish — the ones on the shelf, the PDFs in your downloads, the manuscript you wrote yourself.
