## What is orb square?

step into a clean, high-contrast arena where color is control.

orb square is a competitive, turn-based strategy game inspired by four square and classic creature battles. four orbs enter. one color leaves.

you choose your color. the rest are randomized. every orb begins with 100 hits of its own color, but nothing stays pure for long. every attack bleeds your color into opponents, reshaping their identity. when your color becomes the majority inside an orb, you take control of it. take all four orbs to win.

before each match, draft your loadout. from a fixed pool of 16 moves, you and three smart ai opponents select four moves each in a snake draft. once the battle begins, turns move clockwise and actions resolve instantly. no delays, no confirmations—just clean decisions and satisfying outcomes.

the system is simple, but the strategy runs deep:

* damage is color bleed, not health loss
* every orb always totals 100 hits, shown clearly with stacked color bars and exact values
* majority color controls the orb and its moves
* scaling, defense, and tempo all matter
* one move can flip everything
