## What is Orbeon?

Orbeon — the journey of light.

No need to drag your finger across the screen. One tap is all it takes. A glowing orb circles a ring; when you tap, it launches and latches onto the next ring. Catch the rhythm, don't drift into the void, reach the green gate.

It looks simple — but it's hard to put down.

FEATURES
• 120 hand-crafted levels: a difficulty curve from a calm start to breathtaking mastery stages
• Ever-changing pace with bonus rounds, timed levels and a "keep moving or fall" mechanic
• Endless Mode: how far can you go?
• Speed Run: shatter your best time
• World Ranking: global competition against real players
• 14 unique characters — unlock them by collecting stars
• Fully procedural, live-generated calm music and sound effects
• 6 languages supported
• NO pay-to-win: no purchase gives a gameplay advantage; it only removes ads and unlocks cosmetics

As calm as zen, as satisfying as a reflex game. On the bus, in a queue, or before sleep — Orbeon is for every moment.

Crafted with care by Axium Dynamics.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0 — 2026-09-03

**YOU PLAY THE MELODY**
Every clean hop sounds the next note. The scale climbs, turns at the top and
comes back down the same way — a long streak is a tune you wrote without
noticing. Premium players can replace those sounds with their own recordings,
and your own "hop" rises and falls with the combo too.
**COLLECT STARS, UNLOCK CHARACTERS**
257 levels, 806 stars, 22 characters. Stars are never spent — as they add up
you cross thresholds, and at every threshold a new orb unlocks on its own.
Locked ones stay hidden; you only know how far away they are.

**ENDLESS, SPEED RUN AND THE WEEKLY BOARD**
In Endless the rings get smaller and faster the higher you climb. Speed Run
counts how fast you clear the first ten levels. Both go on the weekly board,
which is split into six ranks: Spark, Ember, Beacon, Pulsar, Quasar, Zenith.
The board resets every Monday, and finishing the week in the top three wins
stars plus the champion orb — the one orb that can only be won.

### 1.9 — 2026-08-24

This release reworks both how the game sounds and how it looks.

YOUR OWN SOUNDS — PREMIUM
• Record the hop, the death, the life lost and the level complete in your own voice. The hop recording rises in pitch with your combo exactly like the built-in one, so the melody of the game becomes yours.
• Recordings never leave your device. Play them back, delete them, or switch them all off with one toggle.

AUDIO
• The hop no longer tops out on a long combo; the scale now spans three octaves.
• Losing a life has its own sound and no longer shares one with dying.
• Overlapping sounds cut each other off during fast streaks — the audio engine was rebuilt.

A NEW VISUAL LANGUAGE
• Rings, background and orb are pulled to neutral grey; the brightest thing on screen is now the target gate, and the only saturated colour is the hazard red. The glow is gone — far easier on the eyes over a long session.
• Gate, hazard and star colours are identical across every theme. Changing theme no longer changes the language of the game, only the tone of the background.
• New logo and app icon: a ring, one red arc, and the orb travelling around the circle — it burns as it crosses the arc. The splash screen was rebuilt around the same mark.
• The Flame character is actually a flame now, and every character preview shows exactly what you play with.

GAMEPLAY
• Hazard arcs don't burn on the first lap, and they show it IN ADVANCE. The green cover on the arc melts away from both ends as the lap runs down.
• The campaign grew to 257 levels and 806 stars.
• Characters are no longer bought. They unlock on their own when you cross a star threshold, with a reveal screen the moment it happens.
• Colorblind mode added.
• Premium players get one extra life per endless run.
• Endless mode gets a restart button in the top left.
• In Speed Run the gate no longer opens before every star is collected.

FIXES
• When the weekly board reset, your old record carried into the fresh week and stayed there no matter what you scored.
• An orb thrown into empty space in endless mode now dies without the delay, and a score of 0 is no longer written to the leaderboard.
• Music kept playing after a relaunch even with the setting switched off.
• The level didn't end while you waited on an open gate.
• A countdown frozen at 0 appeared on levels that have no time limit.

### 1.8 — 2026-08-21

What's New (1.7)
This release is a full visual overhaul.

• A new visual language. Rings, background and orb are pulled to neutral grey;
the brightest thing on screen is now the target gate, and the only saturated
colour is the hazard red. The glow is gone — far easier on the eyes over a
  long session.
• Gate, hazard and star colours are now identical across every theme. Changing
theme no longer changes the language of the game, only the tone of the
  background.
• New logo and app icon: a ring, one red arc, and the orb sitting on the
circle. The splash screen was rebuilt around the same mark.
• Hazard arcs don't burn on the first lap, and they show it IN ADVANCE. The
green cover on the arc melts away from both ends as the lap runs down.
• The campaign grew to 257 levels and 806 stars.
• Characters are no longer bought. They unlock on their own when you cross a
star threshold, with a reveal screen the moment it happens.
• Colorblind mode added.
• Premium players get one extra life per endless run.
• In Speed Run the gate no longer opens before every star is collected.
• An orb thrown into empty space in endless mode now dies without the delay,
and a score of 0 is no longer written to the leaderboard.
• Fixes: the level didn't end while you waited on an open gate; a countdown
frozen at 0 appeared on levels that have no time limit.

### 1.7 — 2026-08-15

NEW

• Thirty new levels — the campaign is now 150 levels long.

• Collect rounds: the green gate stays locked until you have swept up every light on the map. Landing on it does not open it; you simply keep orbiting. One mistake restarts the whole round with all the lights back.

• Grand stars: some levels replace the three small lights with a single giant star worth four. It sits off the flight line, so you have to leave your path to earn it.

Both kinds start appearing at level 60 and grow more frequent toward the end.

• The world ranking is now weekly. The board resets every Monday, so the top is within reach again each week, and the current top three sit on the main menu with the time left before the reset.

• Names are unique now. A name is chosen once, no two players can hold the same one, and the game asks for yours on first launch instead of leaving you to find the screen.

CHANGED

• Running the countdown out on a ring no longer kills you. The orb launches itself. The arc turning red is a warning that the automatic launch is coming, not a punishment — take the shot yourself if you want a better angle.

• Difficulty no longer flattens out in the late game. Ring count, speed and hazard arcs keep climbing all the way to the end.

FIXED

• Continuing an endless run after an ad works properly. The orb comes back on the ring it died on with your score intact, and the camera follows it there. Before, the orb was left outside the visible area and the first tap ended the run instantly.

• Rewarded ads now reliably grant their reward.

• The small tip shows up in the shop again.

Have fun.

### 1.6 — 2026-08-10

150 levels and two new rules: the gate stays shut until every light is yours, and some stars are worth four. The countdown now launches you instead of killing you.
