## What is Orbit?

Orbit shows the places in your city the way they want to be seen — their menu or products with photos and prices, opening hours and how to get there — and rewards you for going.

• Open now — see at a glance what is open, and until when.
• Shops — order from online shops in the city (clothes, shoes, gifts, electronics), delivered by the shop, and follow your order live.
• Map — every place on a clean map. Tap a pin, swipe the cards.
• Near me — sort by distance when you want to. Distances are worked out on your phone.
• Directions — the fastest road to a place, drawn on Orbit's own map, or open it in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.
• Scan — point the camera at a place's QR code and its page opens.
• Order from your table — at places that offer it, send your order from your phone; the staff confirm it.
• Orbit Points — sign in with Apple, Google or your mobile number and collect points at every Orbit place. Use them for rewards: a free coffee, a dessert, a discount.
• Offers and stamp cards — see what places are giving, claim it, and show the code at the counter.
• Saved — keep your favourite places and dishes with a heart.
• Kurdish, Arabic and English, with full right-to-left. Light and dark mode.

An Orbit account is optional: everything except points and rewards works without one. Your number and email are never shown to a business — only your first name.

Every page is published by the business itself, so prices and what is sold out today come straight from their system.

Own a café, restaurant or shop? Tap "Put your business on Orbit". Businesses already on Orbit sign in from More and run their counter — points, rewards and offers — from the same app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-13

A short tour the first time you open Orbit. New pictures and clearer messages when something needs your attention — no internet, location off, or a code that isn't Orbit's — with a button to fix it. Fixes and improvements.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-11

New: Games in the Play tab.
• Washe (وشە) – one Kurdish Sorani word a day. Guess it in six tries and keep your streak.
• Diwar – falling blocks. Clear lines and climb the levels.
• Xisht – fit blocks on the board and clear rows and columns.
• Nishane – pin the turning target and beat a boss every fifth level.
A daily challenge, weekly leaderboards and your own game profile. No ads and nothing to buy.
Plus small fixes and smoother performance.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-10-09

Order from online shops in the city and follow your order live, from accepted to at your door. Shops can now have their own look: films, framed galleries and products you can tilt. Made-to-order products let you see your own photo on the product before you order, and send it with your order. Faster and smoother everywhere. Venue staff: a dish ordered more than once is grouped on the ticket (tap it to see each time), and kitchen screens show only the round being made, with the waiter who sent it.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-08

Salons are here. Find barbershops, hair and beauty salons on the map next to cafés and restaurants, see their prices and team, and book a time in a few taps. Your bookings live under More → My bookings.

Easier typing. The Return key moves to the next box, and dragging the page or tapping outside closes the keyboard.

Plus small fixes and polish.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-03

Staff who sign in with their business account now get a notification when the dishes of their order are ready. Smaller fixes and improvements.
