Cons - separation alarm distance is only 5m distance despite advertising 30m. Also it only works if you’re within Bluetooth range which is only 5m. Disappointing. Having said that here are the good features and the drawbacks. On the positive side they are tiny they fit well they work well. The battery duration lives up to promise! The app software is very clever👍 and once you figure out how it works, serve you very. It’s quite easy to figure out. 😁 On the downside, for no apparent reason I just had one of my early purchases (Approximately six or seven months) fail after only a few month’s.I charged it and it failed, I’m not sure why. For a background app … something that gets no screen time…. Can you add a feature to the phone app to send an alert if the battery is low? It might be able to do that at the same time it checks for the presence of the orbit wallet. The first one had problems but was fixed thru dealing with their “customer service”. Then it broke (as a small metal arm piece fell off as I was changing the battery. So I bought another. Nothing but problems and absolutely NO help from the present customer service person. I’ve had my orbit for nearly two months. I lost my car keys and finally put the orbit to use - but when I tried to select the RING ORBIT to activate the very essence of what this product is (to help find my keys) the button wouldn’t activate. It showed a location of where I was 2 days prior which was no help. I knew my keys were in my house somewhere and if it worked and rang like it should have, I would’ve found them a lot easier. I have tried to reinstall the app - the app I have is different to what is on the user manual. I’ve tried to update or download again from the Apple store but it’s no different. The main thing is - when I lost my keys my ORBIT did not work. Extremely disappointing. User help has brought no support either. ### 1/5 — Absolute garbage product and app *2022-10-21, version 2.6.3* Both the key and cards separation alerts do not work, I will go miles before I get a notification I left something behind but even worse I get false alerts every 20 minutes, my wallet and keys are right next to me yet the app keeps telling me I may have forgot them. It doesn’t help that the app keeps telling me to update but the update keeps crashing. If you purchased your orbit for separation alerts, go return your device and get your money back. This thing is the worst tracking deck I’ve ever used. ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-09-14, version 2.5.9* Absolutely useless. Bought it to track my dog, popped the orbit on her collar, all fine. Took the collar off at home and tried to ring orbit to find it….nothing happens. Have reset it several times now. It works when I set it up, and then when I actually need to ring the orbit…nothing. Successive attempts at reinstalling app and trying to reconnect glasses did not yield results. No response from Orbit support. Fortunately, my neighbor had a set. I remembered the Orbit my daughter had given me to help with misplaced keys. Orbit showed that my keys were at the gate at JFK where I had boarded my flight home. I contacted Southwest Airlines and they had been found. They were nice enough to overnight them to me. Needless to say, I can’t say enough good things about Orbit!!!
