## What is Orbit?

Orbit is a calm, capable place for everything you want to plan, capture, organize, and find again. Tasks, notes, lists, collections, files, media, and reminders stay close together without turning your workflow into clutter.

No costs, no account, no internet connection needed. It just works.

Plan your day in day, list, and month views. Work with flexible tasks, priorities, times, durations, reminders, and recurrence rules. Move tasks with gestures, collect ideas in the pool, and keep an eye on tasks that have been postponed.

Notes in Orbit are flexible and expressive, with formatting, fonts, colors, alignment, attachments such as images, files, audio recordings, and drawings, plus a clean full view for reading. When needed, you can export notes with their content and media as a PDF and share them.

Orbit is more than just text: Record audio directly in Orbit, capture visual ideas with drawings, and organize information in tables.

For structured information, Orbit includes many list types with clever designs and advanced features such as shopping lists, routines, recipes, diaries, documents, password lists, birthday lists and more. 

Collections bring related things together: tasks, notes, lists, files, media, websites, and custom elements can be organized like projects. 

Search helps you quickly find content across tasks, notes, lists, and collections.

Orbit is designed with privacy in mind. Your organizer data stays locally on your device. Notes, lists, and collections can be locked with a PIN, password, or device lock, with optional biometric unlock. 

Backups, import, export, ZIP/PDF output, and Orbitshare (for sharing and importing content between Orbit apps) give you control over how you save or share your data.

The app itself can adapt to the way you work: design, automatic theme switching, background images, start screen, language, sorting behavior, date and time format, additional favorite buttons for tasks, and more can be adjusted in detail.
