### 5/5 — Unglaublich vielseitig

*2026-08-29*

### 5/5 — love anytime AudioThing takes us to outerspace

—through a steampunk-engineered kaleidoscopic telescope.

you had me at euclidean on this one. a fantastic drum machine that immediately had me not only downloading all of the kits for it (a ton of generous freebies here), but also configuring my own for later. it's a great opportunity to see how different sounds pair together. drop any file in and it's immediately sequenced into the rhythm.

Noises remains one of my all-time favorite instruments, and I hadn't realized until Orbita that I'm fool for having yet to take advantage of its custom bank options. safe to say, too, you may want to max out the contrast option for aesthetic value (or vision impairment) as it pairs gorgeously with the neon palette.

only request: I didn't notice—though may have overlooked—a dedicated BPM rate on the standalone. this may be intentional to honor the euclidean factor; I hadn't considered that. would be nice to run my kits at their respective speeds, however.

thanks for another lunge into a universal spectrum of creativity, AudioThing!

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-29*

Usually AudioThing stands for Quality and creativity in my eyes.

With this and Latin Percusion it’s now 2 uninspiring and boring samplebased Drummachines in a row, that feel more like a cashgrab. U can only use the Euclidean mode, no way to manually set steps. Random function is either randomize everything or randomize all tracks at once, which makes it kinda useless imo. There is midi out, but it will only send notes, even when the track is muted btw. At this pricepoint there is a lot of alternatives that do more for the same or even less money.

Pls fix the randomize function, add manual step options and maybe offer a way so the midi out can really be used. Be it routing in the app or make ur customers happy and add multiple puts too.

I hope this won’t become a trend and that AudioThing returns to their high standards and creative music apps that made them a blindbuy on release dev for me.

### 3/5 — Sample load bug?

*2026-08-28*

It’s probably due to the latest iOS update, but as soon as you try to load a sample, the app crashes and none of the buttons or controls respond anymore.

**Developer response:** Thanks for reporting this. We’re looking into it, as it may be related to the latest iOS update. For bug reports, a support ticket is much more useful than a review, as we can request more details and send beta/hotfix versions if needed.
