It’s kinda funny when they run out of animals though, after that the pets are random shapes and blobs with weird faces. IAP pricing is ludicrous, the balancing is nonsense, cards and rings have very little variety and add nothing new to the mechanics. Everything is way too slow. I realize it wasn’t a one-shot prompt to make the game, but if it were, the prompt would probably look like: “Make a idle gacha with pets. Make everything look oddly gross. Pick the top 3 mechanics from the games with the highest IAP sales and copy those. Make sure it plays 10x longer than would be considered fun. Now tune the balancing around $100 packs. Use whatever is left in the token balance to make a pvp arena it doesn’t have to be good.” It’s honestly so bad and frustrating throughout. All aspects of the game. Every new unlock is a new disappointment. The reward for spending is reaching uglier stages and pets quicker. What gets me is I started playing on Jest when I found the game only to then see it in the App Store but no way to log in or port over. So now I’m stuck playing on jest. Another tweak would be the info stuff for orbos, who cares what they eat and all that. It’s pointless. What we should have is an orbo log of all the ones we’ve discovered and their evolutions. Small rewards for finding new ones and even better rewards for evolutions. Lastly, maybe something where you can take one of your actives and place them into some idle mission to capture essence or some material. But a huge issue is sometimes (I’d say 50/50) your offline gains don’t accumulate when it’s closed. Really annoying when you go to bed and wake up only to not get any offline income. Especially when that’s the main way I play. Avatars • New: you can pick your own avatar, either one of your orbos or a flag. It shows on leaderboards, in battle intros and on your rank card. Global leaderboard • Two leaderboard tabs: PVP ranks by lifetime arena points and only lists players who have won at least one battle, so it starts empty and fills as people fight. Depths keeps the old floor ranking so nobody lost the standing they earned. Your own row sticks to the screen while you scroll. Mining and energy • New: a hidden Energy Shop, discovered through an arrow near the energy bar around floor 12. It sells Overcharge, which makes each tap hit harder but drain more energy (up to 3x), and later Surge, a hold to charge burst attack you release for big damage. • Tap energy was rebalanced overall: taps are individually weaker and the bar is smaller, upgrades are meant to carry you. Rocks also respawn faster. • New: tap the damage number in the header to see a breakdown of where your damage comes from. Garden • Crops unlock in chains now. Harvest enough of one crop and the next seed gets revealed with a little claim moment in the seed shop. A few late crops also need a minimum floor. Long time accounts with real progress keep everything they had, nobody gets re locked. • The Garden tab itself now unlocks by selling orbos rather than by level, and there is a live countdown on the tab plus a nudge when a free plot is sitting idle. • Balance: carrot is now a quick 15 minute crop with a smaller yield, tomato is easier to reach.
