## What is Orcalot?

Create evolving rhythms and melodies with ORCA livecoding, a built-in synthesizer and audio-reactive shaders on iPhone and iPad.

Build patterns in the visual programming grid. Shape each channel with synthesis, samples, SoundFonts, Bytebeat and effects. Explore the shader library or edit GLSL to give your music a visual world.

Designed for touch: drag with one finger to select, pan with two. Use the on-screen keyboard or connect a hardware keyboard. On iPad, keep the channel list and a spacious workspace; on iPhone, switch views from the compact toolbar.

Connect compatible USB MIDI instruments and controllers through USB-C. Device power requirements and adapters vary. Create offline without an account. Automatic local session saving helps you return to your work; export .orcalot projects to keep and share your ideas.

JAM TOGETHER — EXPERIMENTAL
Explore Nearby Jam: discover rooms on the same local network without internet, ask the Host to join, and combine nearby performers with remote WebRTC guests in one shared project. Browser guests use invitation links. No account is required. Nearby connectivity is experimental and depends on device permissions and network conditions.
