With a big family going at 500 mph using this is the one thing that allows us to connect at the table over meals. Overall, they are really great, but would also like a better estimate of delivery time. I can order food in minutes on the app, and it is promptly delivered hot and fresh. Delivery fees are all charged on a steep percentage basis, which generally means they rack up very quickly. That’s whatever and probably expected for vail, the inappropriate thing is having a driver come, enter my apartment, and refuse to leave without an additional 20% tip. Either there’s a rip off happening, or the drivers are getting shafted by whomever is running this app who are collecting insane fees, or both. Selection was bad but that’s not the thing that got me. And plus ads tax and delivery fee. ### 3/5 — Dinner experience *2021-07-17, version 27* Hi, So at mid-day, I explored my dinner options and decided to check out the app. It clearly stated that I could order ahead, and even though you didn’t open till 5pm I could select a delivery time for after that time. I went through the entire menu and made my selections. It seemed flawless …. Until I got to the pay button. Then an alert pooped up stating “ Opps!!! We are currently closed”. So…. I waited till 5 pm and placed the order. I was very specific about my selections, as well as adding my gratuity for the driver. My address and unit number was entered as well. So….. when the driver arrived he did NOT have the unit number , so I was messaged to give you that. And also the gratuity was not specified . BOTH these things were entered into your app previously at the time of the order. I went into all this detail to make you aware of the deficiencies of your ordering system. Just a heads up.
