BPs editing is clunky. Viewing week over week or day to day trending very cumbersome. There should also be some integration with MN in all honesty so content and communication can flow ### 2/5 — “A” for the idea, “F” for execution *2024-12-24* It’s a good idea. From a long of logistical perspectives and angles, it’s a great idea and product. However, the execution just isn’t there. Either they did not keep the app up to date with the latest iOS/devices, or they didn’t take enough time in their testing phase. Depending on if their dev team took an agile approach, this should be easy to correct in a short period of time. Major issues: (iPhone 16 Pro Max) 1. Text blocks are partially cut off on many screens. 2. Videos take a while to load. 3. Forms either do not load, or do not save. ### 4/5 — Graphs *2023-04-22* This app has had an excellent impact on my life. It’s great. I’m fitter, happier and more productive with my time. The graphs don’t work which is a real downside because I want to look at graphic representations and especially compare last quarter to current quarter to explore the efficacy of the goals I’m setting and compare engagement quarter to quarter. Update: Our boys didn’t fix it. I gave them a year. I found a less expensive app that has a better design with no glitches. Still listening to the podcast, but not paying 14 a quarter for a broken app. ### 2/5 — Seems worthless without subscription *2021-06-25* Worthless or even worse, a waste of time and effort if you don’t plan on spending the cash to see how it is even supposed to work. There are helpful videos for each section for you to be sure you’re filling it out properly, but this might be part of the strategy to get you to invest your valuable time and make you feel like you “owe it to yourself” to pay subscription in order to see any return on that time spent setting it up. After you’ve completely set it up, there is no option to see or do anything else until you pay, unless I’ve done something incorrectly. ### 1/5 — Blind purchase *2021-05-16, version 1.4* Would have been nice if there was a 30 day free feature, so you can see what it is / does, before spending money on it. Ryan might have lots of money, made from us that follow him, but I don’t blindly purchase items. ### 4/5 — Great planner *2021-04-22* I’m a big fan of the battle planner app, I find it easier than paper form. One issue: I plan ahead for daily tasks scheduled in the future it carries other daily tasks with it. Example: Friday daily tasks 1.) meet with customer 2.) sign paperwork Saturday 1.) (Friday’s carried over task) 2.) (Friday’s carried over task) 3.) accept delivery of material I’m not sure if it is intentional that the previous days tasks are carried over into the next day until they are complete or not. Thanks! ### 5/5 — Above and beyond *2021-04-07* Not only have they made a great, useful, everyday app, but they go out of their way to make sure it’s working properly! Anything else you run into or have any feedback you can also reach us at battleplanner@orderofman.com ### 3/5 — Great Concept *2021-04-07* I’m an hour or so into having this app. I think it is an amazing concept and am really excited to start using it. There are some glitchy frustrations though. I can’t change reminder times, the full description of the task can’t be viewed without tapping the edit button, and if the task description is too long it disappears while typing. Without these issues my first hour was five stars. I look forward to updates that address these issues. Once this happens and I have more time with the app I will update my review. ### 4/5 — Excellent Approach To Planning *2021-04-01* This came right on time as I needed something to help with direction on this new path I’m taking in life. Ryan definitely breaks things down making the process of goal setting much more focused and easy to implement. My Only gripe I have is that the app is fairly new and still needs a bit of tweaking. Once your at the after action review screen you can’t scroll up and have to go the menu to get back to the top. Also, it will crash occasionally but nothing game breaking. I think this is an excellent approach to planning, just some small tweaks to the app and this thing would be great for any man seeking to be more focused in his approach to life! **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Order of Man has been putting out amazing content to empower men to protect, provide, and preside, and to basically help to eliminate the “toxic” traits of weak men. Please fix and I’ll change my review. ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing *2023-12-31* I love the OoM and when I saw that the battle planner was an app I was ecstatic because I’m not the best with pen and paper and I’ve been severely disappointed with the quality of this app as I can’t even fill out my battle plan without the app crashing every few letters. I can’t express enough how sad this is. I really want this to work, I hope that some attention will be given. ### 1/5 — Not working *2022-03-21* Alright so I’m new to this whole thing and I heard from the Facebook group that there was an app and was hopeful that it would help me threw some of the creative stuff but I can’t get it to work pass the introduction videos it freezes so I can’t enter my vision and won’t let move forward until I complete that step. Please help a guy out I know bug fixes are not always easy to fix but it would be nice if I could get into the app a bit more. ### 1/5 — No option for non-binary/gender-fluid folx *2021-05-18* Was looking for a goal tracker/planner and came across what appeared to be this well thought out and developed app. However, was disappointed to see the drop down menu for gender selection is limited to just male and female. No option for those who do not subscribe to the outdated gender binary. My only gripe is that I would like to be able to set reoccurring tasks for certain days of the week.
