## What is Ordly Habit Tracker?

Ordly is a calm, intentional habit tracker built around one simple idea:

Focus on what matters today.

No feeds. No streak pressure. No clutter.
Just a clean daily view that shows what’s due and lets you log progress quickly and deliberately.

Ordly is designed to feel quiet, focused, and satisfying to use—so habits support your life instead of competing for attention.

Core features

• Today-first habit dashboard
• One-tap log and undo
• Daily habits, routines, and weekly goals
• Streaks that reflect real consistency
• Calendar navigation (past and future days)
• Weekly and 30-day reports for insight without overwhelm
• Optional reminders you fully control
• Subtle celebration when the day is complete
• Export your data (CSV or JSON)

Privacy and ownership

Ordly works fully offline and does not require an account.
All data is stored locally on your device and synced through iCloud if you choose.

No analytics. No tracking. No ads.

Built for

People who want clarity, consistency, and focus—without noise, pressure, or gamification.

Ordly helps you show up, do the work, and move on with your day.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8 — 2026-03-21

This version fixes a bug that made users see the iCloud disabled error message every time they went to settings in the app.

### 1.7 — 2026-03-19

Version 1.7 adds more flexibility to habit logging, improves date navigation, and fixes a few interface issues.
• Added a CloudKit sync toggle in Settings so iCloud sync can be turned on or off at any time without affecting local data.
• Improved Habit Detail so habits can now be logged for any past or present day, while still following scheduling and pause rules.
• Improved the dashboard calendar with a more readable date label such as Today, Yesterday, or Mar 19, 2026.
• Fixed an issue where saved notes did not reload properly when returning to Habit Detail.
• Removed leftover debugging UI and unused buttons for a cleaner experience.

### 1.6 — 2026-02-07

Version 1.6 introduces clearer navigation and improves overall usability.
	•	New Bottom Tab Navigation: Added a native iOS tab bar with four main sections. Dashboard, Insights, Habits, and Settings. All core features are now accessible with a single tap.
	•	Modern iOS Design: Uses the native tab bar with automatic Liquid Glass material for a clean, cohesive iOS look.
	•	Clearer Structure & Naming: Renamed Reports to Insights to better match analytics content. Updated the Dashboard icon to a home symbol for easier recognition.
	•	Bug Fixes: Fixed streak calculations so future days now correctly reflect your current streak after logging a habit today.

### 1.5 — 2026-01-18

- Added Interactive Home Screen widget actions: Log/Undo habits directly from the widget.
- Updated Home Screen widget so that it updates on date change.

### 1.4 — 2026-01-08

Improved:
- Dashboard streak label now always shows "Streak: N" and reflects your current streak before logging. Removed the "Start New Streak" message to avoid confusion.
- Streak calculation on the dashboard skips paused days and counts only scheduled days, aligning behavior with Habit Detail and Reports.
- Today roll-over is now automatic and resilient. The dashboard updates to the correct day after midnight, on time zone/DST changes, and when returning to the foreground — no force-quit required.
- Respects intent: If you were viewing a past or future day, Ordly won’t auto-jump to Today at midnight or on time changes. If you were on Today, it will.
- Time handling remains robust across locales by using local start-of-day comparisons and noon-local timestamps for logs to avoid DST edge glitches.

Fixed
- Fixed an issue where the app could show yesterday as “Today” until relaunch.
- Internal: Resolved SwiftData predicate build errors in tests by capturing constants in `#Predicate` expressions.
- Internal: Addressed a SwiftUI type-check performance issue in the dashboard body by simplifying the time-change handling.
- Fixed an issue where resuming a habit would incorrectly treat the day of resumption as still "paused." Resuming a habit now makes it immediately active and due for today.
- Added a Fix Pause History tool (Settings > Maintenance) to repair historical data where the resumption day was previously counted as paused.
- Fixed an error that resulted in a single dot showing in the 7 Day report - It's now a daily trend instead of weekly trend on this timeframe.
- Fixed a bug in reports where tuesday and thursday was showing on top of each other. Same with saturday and sunday.
