### 2/5 — Could be better

*2020-09-04, version 1.1*

As a generic ordo it is fine. I, and I think others, would be willing to pay a bit more to have the local necrology included. I would love to see the change back.

### 5/5 — Appreciate the Work Done to Create This App

*2020-06-04, version 1.1*

It has a nice layout and easy to find one‘s way around in it.

### 3/5 — Not too bad

*2020-02-09, version 1.1*

The app seems to do what it’s supposed to do. The only problem I have is that if you want to look up a symbol in the key, you can’t go back to the day you were on. The ordo button brings up 1 October and you then have to date search for the day you were on.
As far as the local editions not being available as other reviewers pointed out, it would be nice to have. However, the faq page no longer has the explanation for the change as the responses mention.

### 4/5 — Server not responding. Please try again later. Fixed as of 2/4/2020

*2020-02-04, version 1.1*

I have been receiving the message for days every time I tried to access the App. I tried to place a phone call to PaulistPress’s developer, but was instructed to report the problem via the company’s website by the automatic voice system. I did but have not heard any responses from the Developer ever since. Please help to solve the problem so I could change the rating back to 4-star as I wish to do so. Thank you.

Updated: So far the app is working again. Thank you. There is your earned 4-star rating as I promised. 😛

### 1/5 — Server not responding

*2020-02-01, version 1.1*

Why doesn't this app work offline? Why would the server need to respond? But anyway, it doesn't respond so the app basically is crashing on startup.

I will review again if it works.

### 4/5 — Good and better than before

*2019-12-14, version 1.1*

This app is handy and has gotten better. In the past, I was having crash issues but last year’s version started to see improvements. Hopefully that continues in this year’s as well. I know some want the necrology for each diocese. But considering how many dioceses there are and how many clergy in the necrology of each, I’m not sure it possible to get that done. Although it would be nice to have so as to pray for the clergy who have passed away. Overall it’s a good app and comes in hand when I’m in the sanctuary looking over readings, Mass parts, etc., and don’t have the printed one with me. Its also convenient when I'm away from the parish church and need to know the Office, Hours, the saints, etc.
Fr. JP

### 3/5 — 3 Stars is still generous

*2019-12-09, version 1.1*

Redesigned? Hardly. More cost effective? Yes, though it’s still without a necrology for each diocese.

**Developer response:** frjps;

1: As for the redesign being inadequate, the Ordo app is a work in progress and we are doing the best we can with a one-member department.

2: It was with the 2018 version of the app that Paulist Press was forced to make a decision to suspend the 29 separate versions of the app in favor of the General Edition. An explanation for the change has been available on the Ordo FAQ page on the Paulist Press website since the change was first implemented, two years ago. The FAQ page is suggested in the App Store as a place to make inquiries and suggestions, all of which are responded to.

Posting a negative review for a change that has been in place for the previous two versions and been adequately explained is not only unfair, but impedes our mission—one we all should be sharing—and stands to discourage those who might find the General Edition useful. We would rather the app not be purchased than to have it purchased, then denigrated, by a user who is aware of the app’s format prior to purchasing.

We are looking forward to a time in the future when we will be better able to produce the 29 separate regional databases, as success of the current format allows. In the meantime, Paulist Press is requesting the removal of this review and rating.

### 1/5 — Proper ordo for diocese

*2019-11-27, version 1.1*

When will the Ordo once again List the necrology for each proper diocese as you did in the first year?

### 4/5 — Startup Page is Always October 1

*2019-11-24, version 1.1*

The startup page is not coming up with the current date. It defaults to October 1.

Still a very handy app. I miss the local necrology.
