When you give the App information about a plant, such as its location, flower color and the time of year, the App will quickly show you which plants match your selections. The App includes 4,337 species of plants found in Oregon. Tons of good info and great to have. However, the time and place filter has gotten really bad over the last couple years and filters out way too many plants and is not as helpful as it used to be. Not sure what got changed with whether distances to known locations had to be closer or what but it would be great if they could roll this feature back to the same functionality it had about three years ago. It’s also an issue with other states apps not just Oregon. ### 4/5 — Great app *2023-05-16, version 9.1* Love this app, I use it all the time! But it’s a little frustrating that when searching by name the keyboard hides the bottom result. Having the option to hide the keyboard would be a big improvement, so I don’t have to struggle to see the last species ### 3/5 — Very Useful *2022-05-06, version 8.4* The UX design isn’t the greatest, as it took a while to figure out exactly how the logging system works. My other main issue with this app is that when logging a plant a sound effect is played even if my phone is silenced with the volume all the way down. I use the app on a regular basis. ### 4/5 — I love this app *2019-07-04, version 7.6* This is a great app. I work and the field and it is helpful to narrow down some species quickly while using the key. One thing that could be very helpful is the ability to search by family. Other than that it’s great. ### 5/5 — 1 Oregon wildflower app *2018-10-05, version 5.3* This is great for a free app. The interface isn’t 100% user friendly but it almost always gets the job done.
