However, it could be better if the cards were more interactive. For instance when asked which leaving group is the best, one should be able to tap the leaving group and get a positive or negative response. Other than that a reagents section would be nice. Other than that it is a great little app to aid in studying while I'm at the gym or on the run. DEFINITELY WORTH THE $2!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought it had easy to advanced problems, but the creators understanding of easy really was way too advanced for me. It's not helpful when it constantly freezes and you have to shut the app off and reopen it. Otherwise nice study tool. ### 3/5 — Names *2010-03-05, version 0* It would be nice for us laymen chem people if the names of the molecules were shown ### 4/5 — Some inaccurate rxns *2015-05-27, version 1.9* Pros: 1- there are many rxns that are covered in the book. 2- a good practice tool for MCAT or DAT. 3- cheap. Cons: 1- sometimes inaccurate products. Ex, nitrobenzene fail to react with Friedel-Craft acylation and alkylation. However, this app shows the products anyways. 2- most of the rxns are basic. 3- there is no way you can just go back to the main list. So, you have to exist the entire app and re-open it again. ### 4/5 — Great OChem tool! *2015-04-21, version 1.9* Overall a very useful study resource. Just wish they're were more flash cards and a section for aldehydes and ketones, and more OChem 2 material because my class went far more in depth than this. I feel like it would also benefit to make the flash cards more interactive. ### 4/5 — Quite helpful *2014-08-18, version 1.9* It is indeed quite helpful for checking up on elements that are essential ### 4/5 — Great study aid! *2013-11-05, version 1.9* Really helps when you don't have your books and notes available, having these flash cards are great to have on the phone, my only gripe is that it should be more specific, for instance, a carboxcylic acid derivatives tab, aldehydes and ketones tab, etc. however, most of that is mixed with other topics. The number one tab they need is a reagents topic that tells you what they are for. It's a lot more handy than a big stack of flash cards, and a much better use of time than the games I am usually tempted to play in my down time at work.
