## What is Ori?

Ori Journal is a private journal that writes back.

Talk or write a few lines about your day. Each evening, Ori reads them back to you as a short, honest letter — gently, and only from what you shared. No blank page, no streaks, no scores.

• Writes the entry for you — a letter, not an empty page
• Works with just your words, or with Oura and Apple Health
• Reflection, not treatment — never a clinical claim, every number shown
• Free, with no account and no ads
• Private by design — your journal is stored on your device

For anyone who's never had a journal, a quiet hour, or someone to tell it to.

### 5/5 — Making good habits

*2026-07-09*

Personally, I've never been a journal person.
But Ori has shown me sides of my own data that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.
What surprised me most is this: when I speak, I seem to understand myself differently than when I try to write.
There's something about saying things out loud - and then seeing the patterns between my words and my own data - that makes things click.
Maybe I'm still not a journal person.
Maybe I just needed a different way to journal.

### 5/5 — Insightful!

*2026-07-04*

I enjoy getting daily reflections, it feels very grounding to me at the end of the day. Easy to use and I like the zen design

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.9.2 — 2026-08-15

Ori now walks your month with you — mind and body together.

- Log your period in two taps. Patterns shows your own rhythm: the ring, your body by cycle day, and what has truly repeated across your cycles — always with the count.
- A garden grows around your ring: one leaf for every cycle Ori has walked with you.
- Insights arrive in your Inbox, speak once, and say exactly which days they mean.
- If a cycle runs long, Ori says only what it knows — never a guess.

Nothing predicts, nothing diagnoses. Your own months, counted honestly.

### 0.9.1 — 2026-07-14

A clearer look under your rings. Each measure now shows real units — hours slept, overnight recovery — next to a plain word for where today sits against your own usual, with small graphs you can actually read. Cycle days now line up with your log, and the temperature chart says when your wearable has gone quiet. Plus a round of small copy and layout fixes.

### 0.9 — 2026-07-08

A quieter, plainer Ori. We trimmed the jargon from the app's notices, so less stands between you and your own day. Same private journal that writes you a short, honest letter each evening — now with a calmer voice.

### 0.8 — 2026-07-07

Your body now sends you messages, not homework.

• The Inbox speaks when something actually changed — “Your sleep has run about 40 minutes short a night this week.” Tap it, and those nights are drawn against your own usual. Nothing changed? One quiet line, and your evening back.
• Reserves, Demands and Form dropped the dashboard voice. Every measure now explains itself the way a friend would — no jargon, no numbers read back at you.
• Tracking a cycle? Log a whole period in two taps, and the ring itself is the control — tap any stretch of the month to open it.
• Ori only names a part when your words from that day back it up — and one tap takes it off the record. Your word wins.

### 0.7 — 2026-07-03

Voice is faster and steadier, and your evening letter is more dependable: the inbox tells you honestly where tonight’s letter stands, opening it past your letter time starts the writing right away, and one tap is always enough.
