## What is Orienteering Compass & Map?

This app makes it easy to find the direction and distance to where you want to go by using the built-in compass, the GPS, and Apple maps. You line up your position (the GPS position) on the map with your destination by moving and rotating the map using one or more fingers. Turn the phone/tablet until the compass needle fits into the compass orienting arrow. Then the phone/tablet points in the direction towards the destination. Just like classical orienteering with compass and paper map. Alternatively the map can be locked to the compass such that north of the map is always the same as real north irrespective the orientation of the phone/tablet. Also the compass has a ruler such that you can measure the distance to where you want to go.

Ein Stern fehlt noch! Den gibt’s, wenn bei größeren Entfernungen das Zielgebiet gezoomt werden kann. Ab 2000m ist eine exakte Stelle nicht mehr genau auszumachen. Ansonsten ist die App recht brauchbar.

Es gibt keine bessere App als diese. 
Schön wäre es noch wenn man einen gepeilten Punkt setzen kann um den dann mit Navi über diese App navigieren kann.

My compass and old self-educated old-schooling begins to be alarming when
the linked Website isn't a secure-one.
Had found out only a minute ago. Then
if my guess is correct:
Any DarkWeb SICK who reads your bodily
placed tracks . . . (guess for yourself).

Love this app and would normally rate it 5 stars but since ios14 update it will not open. Hope they can fix this soon.

Update: I am glad to see this app has been fixed! I can open and use it now. I am changing my one star back to the 5 it deserves. Thanks guys.
