I get as far as selecting a restaurant from the menu and that’s it. It highlights the location I want to order from and the app does nothing beyond that. This thing is a lost cause. It’s functionality is virtually nonexistent. VS paying in-store = $7.40 ### 1/5 — Prices Marked Up *2025-01-01, version 1.4* Don’t order from the app. Prices are marked up compared to ordering in person by sometimes a significant margin. Chili Cheese Fries as of writing as $7 in person and $9 in the app!! A chili cheese burger is $6 in person and $7 in the app. These are the same prices that are listed on platforms like Doordash. Their own app should NOT be marking up their prices! ### 1/5 — Not Original app for the store *2024-12-08, version 1.4* Order food through the app. Was charged for the order and when I got there the order was not ready. Then waited 30 mins for food and it sat cold on the counter. When I went to talk to the cashier he would not remake the food because they don’t have an app and there was nothing they could do. I just got ripped off 37$. The first time I went to use it I was really surprised to see that the menu structure on the app does not match the menu at the restaurant. The menus at the restaurants focus on combinations one through four with a variety of à la carte items. However, there is no option on the app to order a combination - you have to order each item separately. For long time customers who are used to ordering combos by numbers it is really annoying. Also, although the app gave me an ETA for my order, I was not informed that the order was completed sooner than my ETA time. So when I went to pick up my order, it was already completed - my food getting cold and my fries getting soggy. It would be nice if there was some sort of text notification or other means of letting me know that the order was completed before the ETA time. Finally, with respect to the order number information this is also an area where improve improvement can be made. When you order in person at a Tommy’s, you are given a two digit order number that tells you where you are in the queue. The app does not give you an order number to reference. So when I went to pick up my order, the employee asked me “what’s your order number?” and I had no idea what it was. Otherwise, the app seemed to work fine. I did appreciate the ability to customize my items when ordering - and especially liked the option to have no ice in my drink! 👍🏻 ### 2/5 — Reward? *2026-04-15, version 2.1.1* I downloaded the app, but no free chili cheeseburger ever came up. Good food. I love Tommy’s but this app is not user friendly. Wouldn’t let me add items at times. Ended up coming through the drive thru and spending HALF of what I wanted to because I didn’t want to be in the drive thru for so long. Still waited 10 minutes for 1 reg fry, 1 chili fry, 1 cheeseburger, and 1 large drink. So basically I ordered my husbands food and said forget mine because I was so frustrated.
