Orion+ now comes in three flavours.

The Orion+ screen now shows all three options side by side, with the exact savings spelled out so you can see what each one costs before you decide.

### 2.1 — 2026-07-15

Meet Orion Lite: a tiny, instant companion that steps in automatically when your device doesn't have enough free memory for the full Orion model, so chat always works. You can also switch between Orion and Orion Lite anytime from the menu at the top. AI Roleplay gets a big upgrade with the new Memory & Stage feature: every character now opens your story with a scene you can customize, and remembers the details you want them to keep in mind.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-13

Orion 2.0 is our biggest update yet. Tap the new model selector at the top of the chat to meet Orion Agent and AI Roleplay. 

Orion Agent (Orion+) is built for harder problems: choose how deeply it reasons with the new effort slider, from instant answers to multi-pass thinking, watch its thoughts unfold as it works, and get beautifully formatted answers with code blocks and tables, all entirely on-device. 

AI Roleplay is free for everyone: chat with characters like the Knight, the Wizard, the Detective, and travelers Yuki and Ren, or create your own character with a custom picture, name, and personality. Your first custom character is included; go unlimited with Orion+.

This update also makes every conversation smarter and smoother. Chats now remember as much of your conversation as your device's model allows, roleplay replies come to life with styled actions and dialogue, and you can edit messages and regenerate responses across the app. Plus dozens of refinements and fixes throughout.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-07

This update brings UI improvements to the Write for Me feature, a smoother loading progress experience in the typing bar, faster text-to-speech performance, and bug fixes. It also adds soft safety guardrails with helpful tips without blocking the model’s output.
