I really like how this app works similar to a call.
You can stay in a chat while you are on other apps. Also buttons on head phone actual do start the listen function! 

Best functional walkie talkie app! 

I wish it it has a couple more features though. 
-App volume, specific an amplifier.
-settings to be able to pause music while others are speaking
-Setting replay message if you loose connection.

I love the Orion App I have been using it for years now .however it would be better if you could have the Apple Watch as a companion for Ptt push to talk 😎😊😁🎁🎉🎂🍰 that would be so awesome and amazing to have. all you would need is to update software to achieve the desired feature

I think this app is amazing, yet I think Orion will be absolutely great if their was a way to only PTT with one person of the group and not all?  Is there a way to do this?

Ok, very impressed with this. What is it? A PTT (Push to talk) Hardware and software solution. The hardware portion is a small bluetooth button / speaker / mic that integrates with the iphone / Android app and allows you to 'push to talk' (like a walkie talkie) with a friend or group of friends. You can create groups, you can even integrate with IFTTT to create 'recipes' inside your group - ie read the next day weather forecast at 8PM in my group, if the word ‘meeting' is said, text message me the context (ie if someone says "We should have a meeting tomorrow at noon", you will get a text message "We should have a meeting tomorrow at noon". The possibilities are endless. You can obviously use it without the hardware PTT button, but the PTT button makes it so much easier. The audio quality is fantastic. The app is great. Great hardware and amazing software!

I’ve used this app for around 6 months now and am very satisfied with it. I recently received an Onyx and made my experience wonderfully great. I use this app as a part of my ham radio experience and is such a useful platform getting ham tech support. I also communicate with my wife as well as friends for instant communications. The Onyx works very well. I get a lot of heads turning and questions while using it. The support on this app has been delightful. I send feedback and they fix it right away. Cummunications from the team is great.
The updates have been consistent on both iOS and Android.
