Just wasted some money on a buff when a maintenance patch hit. By timer wasted away as the patch was going. You’d think when the game closes, your buff timers stop. The actual game mechanics are irrelevant. No ads is a good start but it’s not pay to win at all, and you can play VERY casually and still make progress. My only complaint is that the sequel/sibling game is almost identical and yet there is no way to save anything between them even though almost all the mechanics are the same.
