Easy to navigate, quick mobile deposits, fast transfers, and the balance updates are reliable. The app makes everyday banking simple without unnecessary clutter. I especially like the security features and how smooth bill pay and card controls work. Customer service through the credit union has also been responsive when needed. A few minor improvements could be made to loading speed, pay a person is on the low end compared to other banking apps and budgeting tools, but overall this is one of the better financial apps I’ve used. At the time, if you’d asked me about ORNL’s customer service, I probably would’ve said it felt like the focus was more on building and renovating branches than on the customer experience itself. That was my honest impression then. Coming back to ORNL, though, I’ve changed my position. They’ve clearly stepped their game up, especially in customer service, and those improvements feel real—not just cosmetic. I’m genuinely glad to be back. I’ve had an account with ORNL since I was 13 years old, back when Martha Story was the branch manager at the Victory Road branch, so this perspective comes from seeing them over a long stretch of time. Holding a payroll check for 10 days and a 401 check . Going into account and taking money out for a loan without approval. Then when you’re late to do your payment it will of course affect your credit score. App doesn’t even send an email to reset your password if there has been too many attempts. Recently I'm having an issue where the transaction info is several days behind. It still shows pending transactions from a week ago that have already cleared. It shows the last cleared transaction as a week ago when several transactions have cleared since then. iPhone 17 Pro Max with iOS 26.5.1. App is updated. This information is collected to store Visit Information, like the latitude and longitude of the user where the event occurred.” I specifically opened a bank account here due to me liking the app privacy. This is a big let down and misleading. ### 1/5 — Wtf *2026-02-03, version 4019.1.0* Went to a fastpacehealth, and ORNL flagged my card as fraud. So now I can’t get treatment since my card is continuously being declined. ### 1/5 — Closed my account in 14 days of being negative *2025-12-18, version 4019.0.3* I couldn’t get into my account to check and they closed it now my car payments and my other bills have to be moved. This bank is awful ### 1/5 — Avoid ORNL *2025-11-23, version 4018.1.1* App does not allow transfers to other accounts. No matter how much it is, you’ll get “declined due to risk evaluation”.
