## What is Orrery?

Ever wondered what that bright point in the sky is on a crisp clear night? Whether it's Jupiter, Saturn or a fleeting pass of the ISS, Orrery shows you the solar system and the stars beyond, worked out for exactly where you are.

See what's in the sky at any time:
- Follow the Sun, Moon and planets across the sky on a live chart, and scroll to any point in the year.
- Look out at the horizon: a star map of the sky in any direction, with constellations, star clusters and nebulae, and the Sun and Moon at their true size.
- Tonight's highlights at a glance: moon phase, visible planets, the next meteor shower and ISS and Hubble passes in your area.
- Follow the moons of Jupiter and Saturn night by night.
- Choose your city or use GPS for a view tailored to where you live.
- Fully customisable: a minimalist view of just what you can see when you look up, or everything in the night sky.

On your home screen and beyond:
- Widgets for the sky chart, the horizon, tonight's highlights and the solar system, each with its own settings.
- Set the current sky as your Lock Screen or Home Screen wallpaper.
- Take the sky with you on Apple Watch, with complications for sunrise, sunset and the moon phase.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-10-25*

Really fun and beautiful. But could do with a manual or better help info. Hopefully will come mans a 5 star review

**Developer response:** Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback.

I'd love to hear more on your thoughts for improved in-app help. I have tried to hopefully find a sensible balance between the getting started card at the top and intro tips on each section as I wanted to avoid walls of text. I know there is a lot hidden away in the many pages and one of my hopes is that each time someone explores the app they will find something new. If you have ideas on improvements please feel free to send them over to info@paeliaq.com
