I’ve had some overdraft charges occur when there was plenty of money in my savings to be transferred ### 3/5 — I liked the app better before the last update *2025-01-16, version 5.1.3* It would s hard to see what your available balance is now. It was very clear before. To my surprise they were willing to give me a auto loan even though I was no longer a Michigan resident. They have given me great benefits through their banking institution. I save more money and have more benefits through this wonderful institution. I’ve always had quick responses and answers to any of my problems or concerns. Their employees and services have helped me to a greater understanding and knowledge of saving and investing. Thank you CFCU for your service, support and great customer service. I only wish that there was a way to simply skip 1 payment on a loan ( especially if you are ahead on your payment), Without having to shut off your autopay. I needed that payment money for Christmas. Had to shut my auto pay off completely. Then go back to the credit union to have a teller turn it back on. Might be nice to also make a way to turn auto pay on, since you can shut it off. The one from before was so much easier to categorize items, and navigate between categories. Now if I select one category to view, I can’t go back to the other categories, it takes me all the way back to the home page where I have to scroll down and select the spending analysis again. It’s also frustrating and time consuming to select a new category because I can’t type the name in, I have to scroll through the whole list. The functionality is more limited than before. I also don’t see the capability to categorize all purchases with the same name at one time, which was really helpful. The other problem I have is the chart colors are all yellow and I can’t tell the categories apart at all. I am a visual person and now with all the categories being the same color, it makes it pretty much impossible to understand the data in a visual way. It negates the whole point of a pie chart. I look at it and all the colors blend together to a golden ring. This feature was really important to me and was the determining factor in my husband and I choosing community financial to open a new joint account. Now every time I go to use it I get frustrated, and a tool that used to be very helpful to me is now useless unfortunately. I really wish they had kept the previous version. I will keep my current account with them, as I really love everything else about community financial but I will probably go elsewhere to open a joint account. Having an app that helps track my family’s spending and helps me budget is a priority. ### 5/5 — Fantastic update! *2023-12-06, version 5.0.2* The new banking app is a huge upgrade. There are times I can’t unlock my debit card. Now I’m having a problem locking my debit card. Apparently whomever designed this new app didn’t take users’ input and opinion prior to finalizing the design. Don’t like it at all.
