## What is Orthodox Bible & Calendar?

Orthodox life, day by day, as your own church keeps it.

Choose your church — the Orthodox Church in America (OCA), the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), or the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese (GOARCH) — and the app follows its calendar: its saints and their lives, its troparia and kontakia, its fasts and its daily readings, on the New or the Old (Julian) Calendar.

TODAY
• The day in the colour of the Church year, with the feast, the tone and the fast
• "What can I eat today?" — the fast in plain words, and the next fast and feast
• The daily readings, the Epistle and the Gospel, opening in the Bible at the very verses
• The saints of the day, with their icons, lives, troparia and kontakia
• A verse of the day and a word from the saints
• Your name day and your family's, remembered each year

THE BIBLE
• The Septuagint Old Testament (Brenton), as the Orthodox Church reads it, with the King James New Testament
• Search by words or by a reference like "John 3:16"
• Save verses, write notes, and share a verse as a beautiful card

PRAYERS
• Morning and evening prayers, prayers at mealtime, and the prayers before and after Holy Communion
• The Jesus Prayer on a prayer rope, with a gentle touch on every knot
• Your commemorations — the names of the living and the departed — within the prayers
• Your daily prayer rule, kept day by day

THE CALENDAR
• A month at a glance: each day's fast in colour, the feasts, both calendars
• Reminders for your prayers, the Scriptures and the word of the day

Every text is free, for good: the Bible, the calendar, the saints, the prayers. No account, no ads, no tracking; what you save stays on your phone.

PREMIUM — optional
• Listen: the daily prayers and the New Testament, read aloud, with the screen locked, a sleep timer, and downloads for listening offline
• Apple Watch: the Church day, the Jesus Prayer rope, complications and Orthodox watch faces
• Widgets for your Home and Lock Screen: the Church day, the verse, the word from the saints, the prayer rope
• Reading plans: the New Testament in 90 days, the Gospels in 40, the Bible in a year
• Your prayer rope by week and by month, app icons, and every share card style
