- Creating floor plans based on panoramic images: 
Make an accurate floor plan in minutes based on the point cloud data behind the panoramic images right on-site. Identify parts of the image as walls or openings and generate a plan of the layout automatically.

- Scan to BIM:
Create multiple stories, align all rooms into one BIM model by simple dragging and dropping them besides each-other. Rooms will align through openings and corners will also find their pairs. Export the result into the industry standard IFC format. All the walls, doors and windows will be exported as a 3D BIM model with all the measured data you have captured.

On a job with the BLK360 right now. The App gets stuck after 25% trying to load files from the system on latest PadOS. So can’t to the job I’m on. Leica – please overhaul the whole app ecosystem around the LIDAR systems and provide clear workflows leading to industry standard formats and interfaces. The hardware is good though.

It’s a simple need... i want to scan a location and download the data. I would give this app 5 stars if that’s all it did.

But that one operation is nearly impossible. Instead there are a myriad of tools I don’t need or want.

This is possibly the most frustrating software I have ever used on an iPad.

If you aren’t on WiFi with internet the app tries to log you in and says error.  I was of course not on internet because I was connected to the blk360 WiFi.  So I get on internet and the app is now frozen.  All marketing, not actual function.  Why do I have to log in anyway?  I just want my scans!

This app was garbage a year ago when we first tried to use it and we were very frustrated by it after the cost of the package we got. We made due with recap for a year but now that that license is ending I decided to test out the free features of this app.  As far as I can tell it is working properly now. After a few dozen scans at various resolutions we have not had any problems.  Definitely prefer the workflow of this app to recap pro.

This app is not even close to functional and is garbage. I insisted on a refund after trying to get any functionality whatsoever for several days. DO NOT BUY A LEICA BLK360 UNTIL THERE IS SOFTWARE TO SUPPORT IT. As of February 2019 there isn’t any field software that works as advertised! Or even close! Clearly Autodesk and Leica are at some sort of impasse considering the software they sell the scanner with (recap pro for iPad, by Autodesk) has never worked properly and hasn’t been updated since we bought our blk360 15 months ago! So Leica’s answer was to introduce this? Another piece of worthless software? Come on Leica stick with hardware please. Or at the very least team up with a reliable company that will continue to support your laser at least until it doesn’t crash and render your hardware worthless for the most part. I believe the BLK has tremendous potential but it’s mostly a 20k paperweight for now. We are shifting back to other lasers and software packages that have never been perfect but have been reliable and functional. Leica should be ashamed.

Can’t even transfer scans from BLK360, stops at 35% forever in version 1.2
At least version 1.1 transferred the scan 50% of the time and even that is after restarting the app for every transfer.
There is no incentive to upgrade to full licensed version when even the basics don’t work
