## What is Orua?

Orua is your private net-worth ledger.

We believe your financial data should never become ad-targeting material. Orua keeps everything on your phone — no account sign-up, no third-party tracking; cloud backup goes through your own iCloud. Only you can see how your assets are distributed.

[Absolute Privacy]
Positions, purchase history and tags are all stored locally on your device. The app only goes online to fetch quotes, and the backend keeps no personal data.
iCloud auto-sync supported (your iCloud, your data), with JSON or CSV export anytime.

[Multi-Market Support]
Taiwan, US, Japan, Hong Kong and Vietnam stocks, crypto, forex, precious metals, plus onshore & offshore funds with daily NAV — all in one app.
Lot-based positions track the cost and timing of every buy-in; selling automatically records realized P&L.

[Statistics & Analysis]
Allocation donut, balance sheet, investment P&L (today vs. total, expandable per market down to each holding), annualized return (XIRR), and realized P&L.
Export the full net-worth report as a PDF for reconciliation or record-keeping.

[Growth Visualization]
Switch between 1D / 30D / 6M / 1Y / YTD / custom ranges on the home screen, with per-category change rates.
The asset range chart marks every purchase point.

[Handy Tools]
- Memos: jot down investment notes and to-dos
- Recurring plans: installment payments and scheduled deposits with reminders
- Receivables & liabilities: principal, repayment progress and adjustment history at a glance
- Asset groups: drag to combine holdings into custom subtotals

[Tags & Lock]
Two-level tagging — tag a whole position or a single lot. "Lock" positions you don't want counted: off the books, but never deleted.

[Privacy Mode]
Don't want amounts glanced at in public? One tap masks totals and subtotals while individual items stay browsable.

[Friendly Interface]
- Two UI modes: Minimal / Classic (bottom tab bar)
- Dual-currency display, 4-step font scaling, automatic light/dark mode
- 7 languages: Traditional & Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, French, Vietnamese, Cantonese

— Why "Orua" —
Orua comes from the root of "Aurora".
The reason I built it is simple: to save up for a trip to take my girlfriend to see the northern lights.
May it help you save toward your own faraway place, too.

— Our Promise —
No ads, no third-party tracking, no data monetization. Your data belongs to you alone.

### 5/5 — 非常不错

*2026-07-11*

提几点小意见：1.群组不能排序，只能按创建时的顺序排列。2.希望群众创建后可以批量加入，不用一个一个拖拽。3.希望可以看见群组下各个标签的占比

**Developer response:**

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.2 — 2026-07-25

What's new:

■ Reorder however you like
- Long-press any item to reorder: drop on a row's edge to insert, or on its center to group
- Long-press a group card to move the whole group — groups and items mix freely
- Requires the "Default" sort in Settings → List & Sort; your ordering is backed up and synced

■ Repay debts in one transfer
- Transfers can now target liabilities: pay your credit card or loan straight from a bank account
- A "Pay off" shortcut fills in the remaining balance; paying in full settles it automatically

■ Wrong entry? Just delete it
- Swipe left in History to delete individual deposit, adjustment, repayment or transfer records
- The net-worth chart now lists its history points — remove spikes left by mistyped amounts
- Deleting clears only the record — account balances stay unchanged

■ Balance out of sync? One tap fixes it
- After editing or deleting history, an alignment card appears whenever the balance no longer matches the history total
- It shows the current balance, history total and difference — recompute and align in one tap
- The account Edit form no longer changes the balance directly: use "Adjust" so every change leaves a record

■ Smoother home scrolling
- Reworked how home rows are drawn — scrolling stays smooth with many holdings

### 4.1.1 — 2026-07-22

bug fix

### 4.1 — 2026-07-20

Daily change at a glance

- New heat calendar in the Stats overview: every day's move, with the amount right in the cell
- Toggle between calendar and trend line on the same card; calendar is shown by default
- Net worth is now recorded more frequently in both the foreground and background, reducing gaps in the trend

P&L, in full detail

- Expandable P&L breakdown with Today and Total shown side by side; today's P&L remains visible when collapsed
- Expand to see each holding's daily and total P&L, then tap to jump directly to its position details
- Fixed today's P&L calculation for precious metals recorded in grams or taels

Onboarding tour, rebuilt

- Reduced to 6 steps: the three signature features, then you're in
- Side menus now slide out in a live demo, with highlights pointing to the exact areas on screen

Polish, all around

- Rebuilt drag-to-reorder for faster pickup and smoother movement
- Smarter compact number formatting: K starts at 1,000 (1.6K), with cleaner values like 3.4M
- Updated the light mode gain/loss green to a calmer forest green
- Fixed sold-out holdings still appearing in the missing-cost list

### 4.0.3 — 2026-07-18

What's new:

■ More reliable selling
- Very small holdings (like 0.00008 of a coin) can now be fully sold — rounding no longer blocks the sale
- "Use market price" no longer zeroes out low-priced coins; editing amounts and rates won't silently round them
- Sale proceeds now default to "no deposit" — pick an account only when you want the cash recorded

■ Funds, one less step
- Cost currency now follows the fund's own currency automatically — locked, no manual picking, no mistakes

■ Smarter compact display
- In compact mode, values from 1,000 up are abbreviated (4,770 → 4.8K) across Home and Stats; under 1,000 stays as is

### 4.0.2 — 2026-07-17

What's new:

■ Smarter tag totals
- Buying in batches with different tags? Each tag now counts only its own lots — no more whole-position mixing
- New "Holding tags" in position details: file the entire holding under a tag in one tap, change anytime
- Fixed unit conversion for precious-metal lots in Tags and Locked

■ Cleaner numbers
- Shares, prices and FX rates drop trailing zeros: 0.1 shows as 0.1, not 0.1000
- Fund names on Home now match the text size of other rows
