## What is Orvyniq?

Orvyniq is a native VNC remote desktop client for iPhone and iPad, designed for direct access to computers and servers you already manage.

Save your VNC connections, open a remote desktop in a few taps, and control it with touch gestures optimized for mobile use. Orvyniq keeps connection profiles on your device, stores saved passwords in iOS Keychain, and does not require an Orvyniq account or cloud relay.

REMOTE DESKTOP CONTROL

• Trackpad-style cursor control and Direct Touch mode
• Tap to click, two-finger scroll, right click, and long-press drag
• Pinch to zoom and navigate large remote desktops
• On-screen keyboard with common modifier and special keys
• View-only mode when you need to observe without sending input

VNC CONNECTIONS

• RFB 3.3, 3.7, and 3.8 support
• Automatic authentication selection
• Classic VNC password authentication
• Tight Unix Login for compatible servers
• Shared-session option
• Data Saver, Balanced, and High image-quality presets

CLIPBOARD TOOLS

• Send local clipboard text to the remote VNC server
• Type clipboard text as remote keyboard input when clipboard synchronization is unavailable
• Copy clipboard text received from compatible VNC servers

LOCAL SESSION RECORDING

• Record the received remote framebuffer as H.264 MP4
• Start and stop recording manually
• Enable automatic recording for individual saved connections
• Play, share, and delete recordings inside Orvyniq
• Recordings are stored locally on your device

DIAGNOSTICS

Built-in session diagnostics help you understand connection and protocol issues without exposing passwords or clipboard contents in the diagnostic report.

PRIVACY & STORAGE

• Saved passwords are stored in iOS Keychain
• Connection profiles stay on your device
• No Orvyniq account is required
• No Orvyniq cloud relay is required

IMPORTANT NETWORK NOTE

Direct classic VNC traffic is not encrypted by Orvyniq in this version. Use direct VNC only on networks you trust or with network protections you manage yourself.
