## What is Osculatrix?

Osculatrix is a tremolo with ideas above its station. With modulated filters, delays, a bit of saturation. Like its predecessors, it is cryptic and opinionated, and it goes from subtle colouration to total destruction at the twist of a knob.

Osculatrix is an AUv3 effect plugin. It does nothing on its own. Use it in GarageBand, AUM or your favourite audio application.

Osculatrix does not want your money and it doesn't want your data. It is 100% free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no surveillance, no nag screens.

Improvements to sync mode:

* beat ratio labels now remain visible the whole time, rather than only when actually turning the knobs
* synced delay ratios remain consistent across tempos, rather than rescaling unintuitively
* delay buffers have been increased to 4 seconds, supporting long sync ratios at lower tempos
* a warning is shown for tempo/ratio combinations that would require more than 4 seconds

(The 4 second delay is available in non-sync mode too, of course.)

NB: the AU component version has been incremented to ensure your existing presets and saved configurations are kept consistent despite the changed delay range.

Sync mode now quantises the delay times set by heft and scrub to musical ratios of the host BPM, in addition to the tremolo time set by curve.

Version 1.0.1 adds basic documentation on the effect and its controls. Find this in the Osculatrix app itself, rather than in plugin instances. It also addresses some potential failure modes that almost certainly have never happened. Osculatrix doesn't really do anything likely to cause them, unlike some other apps we could mention. Ahem.
