### 3/5 — Service is good, app is not

*2026-04-30*

I have been able to get a diagnosis quickly that would not have been possible with my local options. However the app leaves much to be improved. I can’t reliably get my lab order, the most recent visit summaries are always at the bottom of what is now a long list, the chat window to type text does not expand to be able to see what I’m typing. My provider says to meet in 3 months but the app only goes out 6 to maybe 8 weeks.

**Developer response:** Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the app, our team is always improving the reliability of our features. We're glad you were able to get a quick diagnosis that might not have been accessible in your area. If you ever have questions about your care or billing, our team is available through the app or at carecoordinator@oshihealth.com.

### 2/5 — Crazy expensive billing model

*2026-02-05*

Access to dietitians and GI experts is nice but be VERY CAREFUL about your insurance and billing *before* you start with Oshi. Once you start, it locks you into $2,300 (!!!) of payments for a year of coverage regardless of use. I had no idea about the billing structure ahead of time. I emailed the team about my concerns once they explained it to me and they never responded. So if you’ve hit your deductible, could be great, but was way too expensive for me.

**Developer response:** We understand your concerns. Our unique billing model provides access to ongoing care over the course of the year, with costs varying by insurance plan. We strive for the highest quality care and price transparency. To review your plan or discuss solutions, please contact our billing team at billing@oshihealth.com so we can assist you further.

### 1/5 — Charged $700 for a yearly subscription without notice

*2025-10-02, version 25.6.0*

I paid my deductible for a GI specialist to see this doctor ($200) and had 1 virtual visit and 1 visit with a dietitian. Then I got a bill for $700, without being notified I had inadvertently signed up for a yearly subscription of services. Nowhere did I read thats what this app is. I called and they generously lowered it to $250 since I cancelled my yearly membership. So buyers beware its a subscription scam.

### 2/5 — Not as advertised

*2025-10-01, version 25.6.0*

I have only had to a nurse practitioner who was mediocre at best. I asked for a Doctor and was not given a straight answer. To be fair, the nutrition and mental consultant have been helpful.

### 1/5 — AVOID - If you have United healthcare

*2025-09-27, version 25.6.0*

I do pretty good research and I’m knowledgeable when it comes to deductibles and how they work in the US.

I was targeted by misleading ads that Oshi was covered on the United portal. Had services in April. Received a bill this week(end of Sept). The whole time under the impression it was free.

Maybe I could have done more research. But the service I received was not worth the $200 and the misleading practice is unethical.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2025-09-09, version 25.5.1*

Set up login credentials doesn’t work. Can’t navigate through to just cancel an appointment

### 1/5 — Visit coordination is extremely poor

*2025-09-04, version 25.5.0*

I had an appointment visit that booked 2 weeks prior. In the morning I saw that my appointment was canceled . I believe I had to fill out some paperwork, but I was about to do it in the morning prior to the call. Never ever faced such a cancellation without my consent!!!!! Never ever will use this service again

### 3/5 — Ok initial visit, glitchy app

*2025-07-08*

I just met with the NP over the web because the appointment I’ve had a ton of reminders for was not in the app. I will try the whole patient service while I have good insurance. I will also be mindful of the last two reviews about OSHI health being billing focused versus patient centered. I did learn a few useful points about managing IBS during my initial visit. If I’m feeling ripped off, I will change to nonprofit in-person providers. However, the tele-health option is handy.

**Developer response:** Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the confusion with your appointment, our team is always improving the reliability of our features. We truly appreciate you giving Oshi a try and we're glad your initial visit provided some helpful insights. Our goal is always to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, and your experience matters to us. If you ever have questions about your care or billing, our team is available through the app or at carecoordinator@oshihealth.com.

### 1/5 — Terrible nurse practitioners

*2025-05-10, version 25.4.0*

I had an appointment with a GI nurse practitioner when I interned to book a doctor. Then 2 days passed this nurse practitioner never even submitted a visit summary so I still don’t know the list of probiotics she mentioned she’ll write me while I’m still sick. I would avoid the super unprofessional“specialists” or this app

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2025-04-18*

I came to Oshi Health specifically seeking a functional or integrative approach to managing my Crohn’s disease — and made that very clear during my consult. I was assured that this clinic would be a good fit based on my history and preferences.

I paid $250 out of pocket under the impression that I would receive care aligned with a holistic model. Instead, I was told at the start of the appointment that Oshi follows a standard, conventional model of care — the exact opposite of what I had communicated I was looking for.

When I brought this up afterward, I received polite but canned responses and was ultimately told that they would not issue a refund. They did offer a complimentary visit with another provider, but by then it was clear this clinic is not actually aligned with the kind of care they suggested during the consult.

This felt misleading and like a bait-and-switch. If you’re looking for true functional or integrative care, Oshi Health is not it. Be cautious and ask very specific questions before paying anything out of pocket.

**Developer response:** We’re really sorry to hear about your experience. It’s important to us that expectations are clear from the start, and we appreciate you sharing this feedback.

### 1/5 — Feels like a scam

*2025-04-10, version 25.3.0*

I went into an OSHI Health appointment with abnormal results for SIBO. The provider, who was actually quite nice, agreed that I had SIBO. We had a productive conversation, but when I inquired if I would be getting the antibiotics that she listed, the answer was "not yet."

OSHI Health is a business built to extend patient's pain for their profit. I cancelled all further appointments and notified my medical team about the questionable ethics of OSHI.

### 1/5 — OSHI Health is a scam

*2026-06-18*

I thought I could use a dietician at OSHI to help with some gut issues. To get to a dietician I had to have a 5 minute meeting with a general nurse practitioner first. Then she referred me to a dietician. The suggestions from the dietician were not useful at all so I haven’t had another appointment. OK, it didn’t work, I will pay and move on. Not so simple. United Healthcare did not cover the appointments so I wanted to speak with someone in billing at Oshi. There is no way to contact anyone unless you want to pay for another appointment. So I have left dozens of voicemails and emails. They say they will return the call in 2 days. It has been 4 months and they still haven’t responded. Don’t use this company ever.

**Developer response:** We're sorry to hear about your experience reaching someone in billing and about the delays in hearing back. If you have specific questions or concerns about your coverage or out-of-pocket costs, we’d be happy to review your plan with you and connect you with our billing department to explore potential solutions. Please contact the Oshi team at billing@oshihealth.com so we can assist you further.

### 1/5 — Stay away

*2026-05-02, version 25.9.0*

I did 3 appointments - one with the nurse practitioner, one with the therapist and one with the nutritionist. No follow up in over 6 weeks despite asking multiple times over chat. When I complain, the nutritionist calls me and said that the nurse practitioner “forgot” to contact me. The nutritionist recommended Sucraid which has a free trial, but they didn’t bother to either look or even follow back. Instead very prompt in asking for the copays. They seem not focused on the patient at all.

### 1/5 — Scammers

*2026-04-28*

I was persuaded to try this by my insurance company. They covered it so sure, ok. I had two tele health calls with a doctor and one with a dietitian. I was prescribed a PPI. Great, I felt better. A couple of months later (following year) I scheduled a follow up to get a prescription refill. Shortly after I get billed $700. Ouch, but still trying to meet my deductible. A month later I get another bill for $700. Surely some kind of billing error, right? Nope. They don’t charge per appointment. It’s a “package” you have to pay for billed in 4 segments. This was never disclosed. I couldn’t cancel fast enough.

**Developer response:** We apologize for any confusion regarding billing and insurance coverage. Our unique billing model provides access to ongoing care over the course of the year, with costs varying by insurance plan. Depending on each member’s benefits and plan design, patient payment responsibility will vary. We strive for the highest quality care and price transparency. To review your plan or discuss solutions, please contact our billing team at billing@oshihealth.com so we can assist you further.

### 1/5 — App issues still unresolved

*2026-04-20, version 25.8.0*

Well I like the doctors, no issue there. Trying to sign in on app some token doesn’t let me, have changed password, still not working. Emailed and been a week issue not fixed.

### 1/5 — HORRIBLE SCAM

*2026-02-23, version 25.7.0*

I rarely write reviews, but this app is the worst. The doctors just prescribe things that you already try, lie about your own health, and charge you hundreds for it. I had three virtual appointments, all under an hour and they’re trying to charge me $900, even after insurance. Do not use this. I wish I knew and read the reviews before I got scammed. I want my $200 money back and the $700 charge GONE.

### 1/5 — STAY AWAY

*2026-01-31*

What a gimmick this is. First off the Dr just gave me stupid medicine that I already tried years ago. Nothing to help my burning pain. The one just gave me constant diarrhea which flared my inverse psoriasis up and I warned her I had. So i had to then pay more money to see my dermatologist again. Oh on top of it ordered a stool sample that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars for what? Nothing. So disappointed and i will make sure I share this experience with EVERYONE. Such a waste of money and time. Oh and then want to get me with a gut brain specialist and dietitian no thank you. I eat just fine. I needed real medicine to treat my condition, not fake medicine I tried 10 years ago. Waste of a company.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear how disappointing and frustrating this experience was—we take your feedback seriously. We strive to provide our patients with the highest quality care, while also ensuring transparency and clarity around pricing and coverage options. Your feedback is important in helping us improve our communications.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2026-01-05, version 25.6.0*

This app used to work well. Now it’s broken.

### 1/5 — Misleading advertising and manipulative billing practices

*2025-11-11*

I signed up for Oshi Health after seeing repeated ads implying their services were fully covered by my Aetna insurance. The messaging made it sound like Oshi was partnered with Aetna and that I’d pay nothing out of pocket. Once I joined, I was immediately scheduled for an appointment, only to be billed hundreds of dollars afterward because of “deductible” charges that were never disclosed in advance.

During the call, I didn’t feel I could stop without being charged. The entire setup felt designed to trap patients into billable encounters under the guise of “included benefits.”

I’ve since learned other users have had the same experience. I’ve filed complaints with the California Attorney General, the FTC, and Aetna for deceptive advertising. If you’re considering Oshi, verify directly with your insurer before engaging. Transparency matters, especially in healthcare.

**Developer response:** Your concerns are important to us, and our billing team will be reaching out to review your account and help clarify anything that may be unclear. We’re committed to being transparent in our communications and want to ensure you feel fully informed and supported.

### 1/5 — Zero stars

*2025-11-09, version 25.6.0*

One star is way too many! Why? I came with acute pain, the provider suggested I’ll see the nutritionist(and I told her I have a nutritionist) and follow up with her in six weeks. I asked to close my account. Somebody acknowledged my request, but did not follow through, because I received a message recently from my provider that is clearly not addressed to me and describes a substitute medication for some guy🤦‍♀️

### 1/5 — Predatory

*2025-10-09, version 25.6.0*

Predatory billing practices. Beware before you schedule. Even though they are ‘in network’ and I get free nutrition counseling under my insurance program, I had to pay largely out of pocket due to fine print that I did not agree to prior to scheduling and attending the appointments. Medical providers did a nice job but the billing and customer service was a nightmare. Would not recommend to any friends or family.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2026-06-01*

We came to Oshi Health after feeling completely exhausted and discouraged trying to find a GI provider who would truly listen and be invested in our son’s health. From our very first visit, we knew this experience was different.

Our nurse practitioner made us feel comfortable right away. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but she listened deeply, with patience, compassion, and genuine care. For the first time, we felt fully seen and heard.

What sets Oshi apart is the comprehensive, team-based approach. Instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, we were given a thoughtful, personalized path forward that included GI treatment, access to a behavioral health provider to address the brain-gut connection, and a dietitian to help create a nutrition plan that supports real healing.
We are already feeling such a sense of relief and hope, knowing we have a dedicated team walking alongside us every step of the way. If you’re searching for care that is truly holistic, attentive, and effective, I cannot recommend Oshi Health highly enough.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! We're delighted to hear that you finally found care through Oshi. We're committed to providing empathetic, compassionate care for all patients, and we're so glad to hear this success story. We look forward to continuing to support your son through his care journey at Oshi.

### 5/5 — Help much needed

*2026-03-19*

I have struggled with my gut for many years and what happy to see Cigna offered this service. I am able to reach out and have my questions answered anytime, make appointments as needed, and am working on my actual triggers & solutions. I have also had labs done to ensure something else isn’t the issue. If you’ve wanted help for a long time with gut issues, I highly suggest using Oshi’s services.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! We're proud to partner with Cigna to make this level of care available to more people who need it. We look forward to continuing to support you!

### 5/5 — Very Simple Process

*2025-08-30, version 25.4.2*

The whole thing was simple from scheduling my appointment till my appointment. My Clinton was very sweet and knowledgeable. Oshi’s clinicians will work hard till they find a solution that works for you and they listen to what you have to say. Thank you, Oshi!

### 5/5 — No data collection is good

*2025-07-31*

I LOVE that they don’t collect data, I have enough problems with floating info so A+ for that. I also like the app, overall easy to use; staff is great; wish my billing was here too but no problem.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with the app and our team.

### 5/5 — Amazing service

*2025-07-23, version 25.4.2*

The providers are knowledgeable and sympathetic. They care. I went from 10/10 pain on a Saturday to no pain the following Wed with their help. Thank you so much. I’ll recommend you to anyone

### 5/5 — Finally. REAL help for my GI issues

*2025-07-03*

I love this app because I love the service being provided me. I had an acute post-infection inflammation of my GI and with the help of Lyndsay and the team of nutritional and behavioral therapists for extra support, I’ve had a dramatic turnaround in my health. It’s been two months and I am really grateful for the care and attention I’ve received.

### 5/5 — Really pleased

*2025-05-23, version 25.4.0*

I just had my first appointment and I’m really pleased. I felt heard and full of hope. This is the first time I have left a GI appointment feeling like I have a plan and I was heard.

### 5/5 — Doctors that actually care!

*2025-04-13*

I’ve had a number of doctors and health issues the last couple years, Andrea Onstead is the first of many to truly listen to my symptoms and really try to help me instead of just collecting a paycheck. She is very knowledgeable in her field and has truly changed my life. I am so thankful for her and have already recommended her and Oshi to quite a few people.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words! We’re so glad Andrea made such a difference in your care experience. We’ll be sure to share this with her—we’re grateful to have you in the Oshi community!

### 5/5 — Finally Complete Gut Healthcare

*2025-04-02*

Oshi makes it easy to receive complete gut health care without having to worry about multiple copays, referrals, and traveling all over to see specialists. I’ve been putting off my digestive issues until I started Oshi health. Now I have a dietitian, GI specialist, and a GI behavioral health specialist to help me get back to eating normally and reducing symptoms. It’s so easy once you get started. I highly recommend it.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for sharing your story! We're thrilled to hear how Oshi has made care more accessible and helped you take control of your gut health. We're here with you every step of the way!

### 5/5 — Loved It!

*2025-03-11, version 25.2.0*

Asked me lots of details and helped get to root cause
