This is part of my digital minimalist toolkit. For me I can compulsively check my phone. So I often try to have it off, in another room, or locked in my ksafe. But sometimes I have messages that are vital for me to receive, so being aware of notifications is mandatory. Now I can have that on my Osmo pager while I have my phone in another area.
