When you use it at a school we can’t always get new iPads every 2 years. Hopefully they will fix this issue. ### 3/5 — App leaving randomly when not supposed to. *2025-04-08* When I was just about to enter a match battle when the game randomly made me leave the app. it was so annoying that I had to switch to Osmo words(not classic) instead of word battling Awbie in Osmo words classic. That’s why I rated 3/5. I know Awbie is fun and silly strawberry throwing yeti but I don’t like it when I randomly leave when I’m about to word battle. Der Teil mit den verschiedenen Welten, der am liebevollstem gestaltet ist, ist leider nur auf Englisch. Hier verstehe ich nicht, warum man nicht einfach die Deutschen Bildersets, die man über die Osmo Bibliothek hochladen kann, verwenden kann. Das Spiel selbst ist weitestgehend selbsterklärend - auch ohne Text. It was available in French before, but not anymore...Result my daughter who is learning to read can no longer have access to it. ### 1/5 — Words game still not translated *2022-08-08* Despite the comments here being over a year old and claiming that all games have been translated into German, all the words that have been presented to my child so far have been English words (shore, trunk, large,...). The prompts and menu are (mostly) in German, though, but then suddenly you find a “continue” button at the end of a German text. Narration in English only. All very confusing for children who are supposed to start to learn reading and spelling in their native language with this program. Please fix! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t support iPhones *2021-06-08, version 3.4.5* But still allows you to dl the app. ### 3/5 — Not Well Thought Out *2021-02-10* There is almost no time at all given to the child to allow them to figure out the letter before the letter is then forcibly given to them. My 6 year old becomes extremely frustrated by the fact that the program is not allowing him to figure it out before placing the letter in front of him. I don’t understand why there isn’t a slide setting for a slower or faster setting (or no timer), depending on child’s level, because even that would be helpful... but as is, it’s more damaging than helpful. With the fish math game there is always a lot of time allowed to the child, but with this one, it’s just very intense for a child who is just trying to learn and who is then constantly being interrupted by having the letter being thrown at them, instead of allowing them time to figure it out.
