## What is Osmos+?

The Apple Design Award winner and iPad Game of the Year, now on Arcade!

Enter the Darwinian world of a galactic mote. Grow by absorbing smaller motes—but beware of being absorbed yourself.
Osmos+ features unique physics-based play, stellar graphics, and a hypnotic ambient soundtrack.
Navigate through floating playgrounds, competitive petri dishes, deep solar systems, and more.
The key is to balance mass and movement: to propel yourself you must eject matter behind you, causing you to shrink. Use it wisely.

### 5/5 — Peacefully challenging

*2025-12-03, version 1.1.1*

This game relaxes you with great imagery and sounds but still drives you to want to win. Love it.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2025-11-01, version 1.1.1*

This game is awful. I cannot see or find any appeal to it.

### 3/5 — Could be better

*2025-10-30*

I want to like this game but it gets kinda of hard very quickly. I don’t think the physics feels natural enough either. The NPCs seem way more skilled at moving around then you and I just end up getting frustrated with the game and quitting. It doesn’t feel like I even get a chance to get good at the game before getting plowed by an NPC.

### 5/5 — Really fun

*2025-10-28, version 1.1.1*

Yesterday I sprained my ankle and I was bored and looking for a new game, this one looked fun so I got it and now I can’t stop playing ❤️❤️❤️

### 5/5 — Fun arcade game

*2025-10-06, version 1.1.1*

Fun to play on short sessions

### 5/5 — Unique

*2025-10-05, version 1.1.1*

was looking for a creative game to play, i really liked it

### 5/5 — Amazing for when I’m mad

*2025-09-19, version 1.1.1*

It’s very calming and relaxing and fun at the same time. I love it, but it does take a long time to search for players on multiplayer

### 1/5 — Agar.io except wacky

*2025-09-01, version 1.1.1*

Hard to control the character other game is overpriced and i just think searching for agar.io would be better

### 5/5 — Great mechanics, easily replayed

*2025-07-26*

Physics mechanics are great. Tons of fun. Almost every game play is different even on the same levels because minor changes you make ripple through the play scape. Easy to walk away from or get lost for hours

### 1/5 — A Beautiful Game Now Held Hostage by Apple Arcade

*2025-07-26, version 1.1.1*

I played Osmos years ago and was captivated by its minimalist beauty, ambient soundtrack, and clever physics-based gameplay. It was a gem….tranquil, immersive, and unlike anything else out there.

But now? Apple Arcade has locked it behind a paywall. Same exact game, no meaningful updates, no bonus content…..just the original repackaged and slapped into a subscription. It feels less like innovation and more like retroactively gatekeeping something that once stood for creative freedom in mobile gaming.

Apple Arcade promised new experiences. Instead, it’s recycling the past and charging us again for it. If this is the future of mobile gaming by putting old favorites behind subscriptions just because they can count me out. Osmos deserves better, and so do longtime fans.
