This is a really great weather app! It provides accurate, detailed data in a really clear, very nice format. Great alternative to the data collecting weather apps. The place search is a bit quirky and the app does have an occasional minor bug. A widget would be a great addition! Please keep developing this app!

Update:
After the last app update, the layout changed such that data covers other data in the current forecasts rendering the section unusable. I really liked this app, and hope it gets a fix.

Pues no está mal, aunque comparada con otras apps es tal vez un poco compleja, pero tiene casi de todo. Tal vez necesitaría un repensado de lo que muestra en pantalla para reorganizar o dar importancia a ciertas cosas. Se me ocurre separar los valores como si fueran widgets y así poder montarte tu propia “pantalla” Me gustaría también poder seleccionar nudos (kn) en la velocidad del viento. Las horas de salida y puesta de sol son UTC y no hora local, lo que es confuso porque otras horas sí son locales.

Love the app but unfortunately I can’t make it my main source of weather unless there is widget support. I like viewing the weather at a glance through a widget and then open the app through the widget for a detailed view.

The app is comprehensive and informative without being clunky. My only issue is the hourly forecast and sunrise/sunset times are reported in UTC and not my time zone, even if I enable geolocation. Is there a place I can change that?

It can use OpenMeteo on the backend so is going to get you the best forecast available in most locations. And it has a ton of available data. While it’s laying isn’t exactly how I’d like it, it’s understandable and easy to figure out. 

No ads, no tracking, best data. This wins.

Super: die App ist kostenlos und erfasst keine Daten. Noch besser: endlich eine App mit Open-Meteo-Daten, bei denen ich grafisch die einzelnen Modelle vergleichen kann. Ein kurzer Blick zeigt, ob nur GFS oder auch ICON-D2 Niederschlag „sieht“. Auch ECMWF oder Cosmo sind dabei, Arome auch. Es lohnt sich, die App genauer zu betrachten! Danke für dieses kleine meteorologische Juwel.

This app has been my go to for a FOSS weather app but now directly just crashes as soon as I try to open it. I’ve updated and deleted and reinstalled. I hope they get it fixed as I do enjoy using it.

Je suis sur iOS 18, la dernière mise à jour cause un petit souci. 
Déjà, le thème sombre et clair n’est pas respecté. 
Ensuite, la couleur de la police d’écriture ne permet pas une bonne lisibilité, on voit tout simplement rien tout est blanc sur blanc et noir sur noir. 

J’espère qu’il y aura un correctif car sinon dans l’ensemble elle marche très bien.

Powerful data, nice interface. I wish there was a legend somewhere so I could learn the symbols used. I also wish that there main view was the next 7 days, not exclusively the current week. This is particularly problematic when it’s showing only the next 3 days on Wednesday: this limits my ability to plan my gardening activities for the entire upcoming weekend. I especially need to know if it will freeze or be too hot or dry, and plan to protect my plants accordingly.

Just for fun I bought an old iPhone 5s for $59 Canadian and what about seeing If I could install any weather apps. Many would not work, but this one did! And you know, it doesn’t look half bad. I like the presentation quite a bit. So top marks for keeping your software accessible to people that still use old technology.

I’ve found some minor bugs trying to get it setup but manually selecting on the map fixed that. I would love to see a widget but other than that a great app for those that care about their privacy.

This is the best weather app I have ever seen.

This app is super easy to use. It is free and open source, so unlike other weather apps, OSS Weather does not track you.

To anyone who uses Imperial Units, like Fahrenheit and mph, metric is on be default.
Here’s how to switch it:
  1. Open OSS Weather
  2. click the menu button in the
      top right corner (it has three
      vertical dots)
  3. Click on “preferences”
  4. Click on “Units” (you may
      have to scroll down)
  5. Toggle “Imperial Units” on.
      The switch will slightly
      brighten, and the white dot
      will go to the right side.
Thats it.

Thank you to the developers, this is an amazing app.
