## What is OSTConf?

OSTConf is an application for configuring your OSTC dive computer. It allows you to read and modify settings and parameters of dive computers manufactured by heinrichs weikamp GmbH.

Using Bluetooth LE technology, you can retrieve device information, update date and time, custom text, set up your gas mixes and deco parameters as well as upgrading the firmware.

OSTConf is compatible with recent Bluetooth-capable OSTC dive computers such as OSTC 2, OSTC plus, OSTC sport, OSTC TR, and OSTC 4. Note that due to the iOS hardware only OSTC devices with BLE are supported.

OSTC4: The firmware file contains up to three parts.  Please start the firmware update multiple times to ensure that all parts are updated.

I tried for hours to pair my OSTC+ with my iPhone, without success. While the app finds the OSTC through Bluetooth, it never manages to establish the connection.

Elle permet entre autre la mise à jour du firmware ok
Mais pourquoi ne pas y inclure l’extraction des plongées et constituer un carnet pour exploiter courbes de décompression ?

... muss ich so leider auf dem ostc lesen. 🤔
die app schmiert sofort nach dem vebinden mit dem ostc ab und der braucht eine gefühlte ewigkeit um sich aus dieser misslichen lage zu befreien. ist hier nachbesserung angedacht oder gar schon licht am ende des tunnels zu sehen?

aktueller OSTC Sport wird durch Prog zwar gefunden, aber die Verbindung erfolgt nicht - wie bei vielen anderen auch - kann das nicht behoben werden...???

Findet zwar hin und wieder den Rechner mit einer kryptischen Bezeichnung, jedoch bei Anklicken „ Verbinden“ passiert nichts und nach 4 Minuten schaltet sich der Modus aus. Update deshalb nicht durchführbar.
Warum benutzt man kein Wlan oder Infrarot wie ZB der Galileo von Scubapro ?.
Benutze Geräte: Iphone 5s und Ipad Air.
Da diese Probleme schon länger bestehen, wäre eine Information des Entwicklers angebracht.
Dazu fällt auch auf, dass der Companion sich nicht auf allen Windows Plattformen installieren lässt und Bluetooth die gleichen Probleme macht.

Welche IOS Version und welches Gerät soll man verwenden .
Welche Windows Versionen und welchen Blutooth Adapter oder welchen Windows PC ?
