### 1/5 — Horrible

*2023-09-28*

Your required to put a output amount I seen no option to just log my bag changes

**Developer response:** Hi, can you please reach out to us via the support email form on the website or in the app so we can help. There is no requirement to enter an output if you only want to track your bag changes (supply usage). Please ensure you have entered your supplies and then you can select "New Usage" to track your bag changes.

### 3/5 — Good app with one flaw

*2019-04-10*

This is a well designed app but it’s limited to being online for any data input which is frustrating when in poor coverage areas. Should be no requirement when simply syncing data would solve the issue

**Developer response:** The new version of the app should solve for this problem. Can you confirm once you have updated, would love to hear your feedback!

### 4/5 — A Little Clunky but Very Useful e: Great Support

*2024-08-01*

It’s a bit clunky, but I’m finding it incredibly useful for tracking output and appliance changes and use it multiple times per day since my surgery. Here are a number of suggestions to make it more useful: Allow ordering of Supplies category. Using a 2-piece, I prefer not to have pouches at the top and wafers at the bottom. Allow for searches. Allow copying of supplies. Add link metadata field for supplies. It would great if one could enter the part number and lookup the rest of the information but I know this is a big ask. Allow supplies to be archived, but not deleted (and unarchived). Allow adding of supplies from within the usage screen. Sometimes I want to try a sample but have forgotten to add it as a supply item. Provide the ability to export information. To is would be very helpful for dr. visits. Usage Output Supplies Allow exporting of pictures. Do not require Face ID for each entry - change to maybe once every 15 minutes. Fix the bug that has text overlapping in the settings. If I see user input being considered I’ll gladly donate. Just found a major bug - if you use the last of a supply item, it no longer shows on any of the prior usages. The supply must always be greater than one for it to display. Update: I reached out to the developer through the app and their response has been terrific. They considered my comments and are implementing no several of them.

### 4/5 — Just a suggestion!

*2021-02-28*

New ostomate and this app makes everything easier. Was carrying around a pen and paper to record this info for my doctors. But I also have to track my intake. Would love to see a tab for food/beverage consumption so I can have it all in one place and see how it correlates to output.

### 4/5 — Best of the bunch

*2020-06-01*

This is the best of the Bunch as far as ostomy applications. The only thing I wish it would do In addition to current features is to track urine output.

### 4/5 — Good app, wish there was more to it

*2019-01-25*

This is a great app for logging my Ileostomy output! However, my surgeon (as well as many others) want me logging my liquid intake. I wish there was a spot for liquid intake on here so I could compare. BONUS POINTS for a food diary, too, so I don’t have to use 3 different apps!

### 5/5 — Helpful App

*2024-01-13, version 3.0.8*

Very handy for keeping track of my skin care and Ostomy supply inventory.

I would like to suggest an update for the Order section. Why not have your entire list of supplies there to bulk-add rather than doing it 1 by 1.

### 5/5 — Love this app!!

*2023-04-11*

This app helps keep me on track with changing my appliance, keeping up with supplies, output, and skin condition. I don’t know what I would do without it!!

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-04-11*

Not only does it remind me when its time to change, customizable, but it keeps a count on my supplies and reminds me to reorder those when long before i run low 😃

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2023-04-10*

This app helps keep track of everything an ostomate needs to keep track of. Every update makes the app better and better.

### 5/5 — very easy and kept me on track

*2023-03-10*

Great app, helped me so much track output . I could show med staff , easily with forward copy and paste or screenshot.
Really an invaluable tool for the ostomate

### 5/5 — A great app!

*2021-11-16, version 2.1.11*

Thanks for developing this great Ostomy app! I use it every day and find it very convenient.

### 5/5 — Brilliant app for tracking output

*2021-07-14*

I found this app to be invaluable in helping me track my stoma output.

### 5/5 — A MUST HAVE!

*2019-10-13*

This is the second time I’ve had an ileostomy. The first time was in 2018 and it was a temporary, I had emergency surgery. I then had the reversal three months later. Didn’t work out so well and here I am again but with a permanent ileostomy this time. Last year I looked EVERYWHERE for apps that I could use to do EXACTLY what this app does for me. Rather than keeping track of everything on paper (which posed to be an inconvenience being a busy mommy of four). It was very early 2018, so some apps may have started coming about later in the year. But I did not have the option to have apps like this. And when I found OstoBuddy I was ecstatic! I have so many complications that it’s so important I keep track of everything for my high-risk surgeon. She loves that she can see everything on her end as well, as I’ve shared with her. I love that I can see when my output is getting beyond what it should be. I love that I get notified when I’m low on products. And I love the reminders to change my entire system. Although I typically remember to do so, it’s just nice to have the reminder. I will say that (as others have said), it would be nice to have hydration tracking as well as a food diary. But it’s not so bad to not have it, because I have an app just for hydration and food intake as well (both in that one app). And it’s not difficult to open another app to log hydration. It would definitely be a plus to have the hydration and food in this app, but if that addition never comes... I am still in LOVE with this app and swear by it! This is great for every ostomate, especially as a new ostomate, you’ll definitely need this! Good luck all and best wishes! 💜 #wearewarriors
